Executive Director

Hello, my name is Jamie Keel and I am pleased to introduce myself as the Executive Director for the Primrose School of Atascocita, Primrose School at Crossroads Park, Primrose School of Copperfield, Primrose School of Greatwood, Primrose School at Balmoral, Primrose School of Sugar Land, and Primrose School of Eagle Springs. I started my career in early childhood in 2009 and have worked with Primrose Schools since 2010. I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, however continued my education at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. It was at the University of St. Thomas where I completed my education coursework and obtained an early childhood through 6th grade teacher certification. I have experience as a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Lead Teacher as well as Leadership experience as both Assistant Director and School Director. My husband Adam and I have three amazing children who all attended Primrose. Primrose is more than a school for us; it is a part of our family! I am proud to say I get to work at the very best preschool for infant through kindergarten and after school care for the Northwest Houston, Northeast Houston, Jersey Village, Cypress, Sugar Land, and surrounding areas.

Regional Director

Hi! My name is Amber Rhodes, and I am the Regional Director at Primrose School of Atascocita, Primrose School at Balmoral, and Primrose School of Eagle Springs. I have been part of the Primrose family since August 2013, when I started my Primrose journey as an Early Preschool teacher.

Over the years, my role has grown, but my love for Early Education has only grown stronger. I quickly discovered that my passion goes beyond teaching children, I truly enjoy teaching, mentoring, and supporting the educators and leaders around me. I love helping teachers grow in their confidence, develop their skills, and reach their goals within their education careers. Primrose provides such a strong foundation for future educators, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to play a part in their journey. Leading, supporting, and encouraging the people around me is truly what I love to do best!

Outside of Primrose, I am a mom to my daughter, Addisyn, and my newest little addition, Davis! Addisyn attended Primrose for most of her childhood and now loves to dance, which means I spend a lot of my free time being a proud Dance Mom and watching her do what she loves most. With a new baby at home, life is definitely busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I truly love being part of the Primrose family and feel so lucky to spend my days surrounded by such wonderful staff, children, and families. I look forward to getting to know each of you and continuing to grow together!

I love being a part of this Primrose Family and spending my days with our wonderful staff and families!

Christine Haynes
Director

Hi, I’m Christine Haynes, and I am thrilled to join Primrose School of Atascocita! With more than 12 years of experience as an educational leader, I am passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment where children, parents, and staff can all thrive. I previously served as Assistant Director at Wesley Day School and as Children’s Ministry Director at Wesley Methodist Church in Beaumont, Texas.

Outside of work, I’m a wife, mom of two, and recently became ‘Tini’ to my first granddaughter (I know, I look way too young for that, but it’s true!). At home, we share our lives with a dog named Jäger and a cat named Meatball. A few fun facts: I love baking, baseball, good food, live music, and thrifting. I’m not a fan of green bell peppers, bullies, foul odors, people not telling me when I have food in my teeth, or jump scares.

I truly believe strong collaboration between school and families is key to helping every child reach their full potential. I am so excited to serve at Primrose School of Atascocita because I can already see how much the staff here love what they do and how deeply they care for the children.

Assistant Director

Hi, my name is Ms. Mikayla Myers! I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I began with Primrose Schools in 2018 where I was hired as a Preschool teacher. After teaching in the classroom for several years, I realized my strong passion for educating children and helping them grow. Teaching at Primrose has been so exciting and rewarding. I love to see all of the student’s faces light up as they learn new things. In 2023, I became an Education Coach passing on my love of education to our teachers and helping to mentor them in the best way I know how! On a more personal note, I love to spend time with my friends and family on the weekends going to the beach and playing softball. I completed Cosmetology School and it is now a weekend hobby for me.

Hello! My name is Alicia Hanson and I am the Education Coach here at Primrose School of Atascocita. I have been in the childcare industry since 2016. I started off as an Assistant Teacher and made my way up to Center Director. I love watching children hit their milestones and celebrating with them! My husband and I moved our family to Texas from Minnesota in August of 2024. We are enjoying the change of weather here in Texas compared to the cold Minnesota winters. We have 2 boys who keep us very busy during our free time. Since starting at Primrose, I have seen such a positive growth in both of the boys, and it is such a feel good moment when they love and are excited to come to school. I am looking forward to being able to celebrate all of your child’s milestones with them and you!

Hi! I’m Kaitlyn McCombs, and I’m excited to be a part of the Primrose School family!

I have always enjoyed staying active and spending time outdoors. I played soccer for many years as a goalkeeper, and in my free time I enjoy fishing, reading, and spending time with my family. I am a proud boy mom and love cheering my son on as he plays baseball and enjoys riding his dirt bike. Creating special memories with family is one of my favorite things!

My son has been a student at Primrose School of Atascocita since 2021, and watching his growth and development inspired me to become a part of the Primrose community. I wanted the opportunity to help create the same positive and meaningful experiences for other children.

I look forward to getting to know each child and family, building strong relationships, and creating a classroom where every child feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. I am so excited to make wonderful memories with our students and families throughout the year!

Teaching infants is my true passion. I love helping little ones hit their milestones and watching them grow and discover the world around them. It’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of their early developmental journey.

When I’m not at Primrose, I’m spending time with my energetic nieces and nephews, who keep me on my toes! With ages ranging from 3 to 8, there’s never a dull moment. We enjoy family movie days and, of course, indulging in some delicious Mexican food together.

Thank you for trusting me with your precious little ones – it’s an honor to be part of their lives and help guide them as they begin their learning adventures!

Welcome to Primrose School of Atascocita!
We’re Matt and Anne Evers, proud Franchise Owners and parents who know firsthand how meaningful it is to find a trusted early learning environment for your child. Today, both of our boys, Cooper (12) and Cannon (10), continue to grow with Primrose in the Explorers Program.
Our Primrose journey began in 2015, when we were searching for the best childcare option for our first child. During that search, we were inspired by the exceptional care, nurturing environment, and high-quality curriculum we found at Primrose Schools. The more we experienced with Primrose Schools, the more our appreciation grew. Ultimately, this led us to open a school of our own to create this experience for more families in our community.
The core philosophy of Primrose Schools is the belief that who children become is as important as what they know. This is the foundation of our exclusive Balanced Learning® approach which blends purposeful play with thoughtful guidance from teachers to help children grow in curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion. It is more than a curriculum—it is a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
The dedicated team at the Primrose School of Atascocita is committed to creating a safe, loving, and high-quality educational experience for every child. From infant care through after-school programs, we strive to be the most trusted choice for families throughout the Atascocita, Huffman, Humble, Kingwood, and the entire Lake Houston area. If you are looking for an exceptional childcare option where your family feels like part of ours, we invite you to consider our school.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of these important years in your child’s life. We look forward to welcoming your family!

Our family would love to meet yours.
