Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hello! My name is Marissa, and I have a passion for music, art, and cinema. I’m an open-minded person who loves learning and discovering new ways to express my creativity. With several years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I’m excited to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in this field.

What I love most about working with children is helping them on their journey to independence. I’m dedicated to inspiring them to be their best selves, both in and outside of the classroom. Seeing their growth and development is one of the most rewarding parts of my job!

Vikki Zielinsky

Pre-Kindergarten 2 Lead Teacher

Hello, my name is Vikki, and I began my journey at Primrose as a Toddler Assistant Teacher. I’m excited to now be the Lead Pre-Kindergarten 2 Teacher! Originally from Kissimmee, Florida, I’ve been happily married to my husband, Justin, for 25 years, and we have two wonderful children, Emily and Ethan.

In my spare time, I love to travel, especially on cruises. With over 20 years of experience in childcare, what I enjoy most at Primrose School of Atascocita is the opportunity to watch the students grow and develop every day. Thank you for entrusting me with your children—I’m grateful to be a part of their journey!

Shaista Shadman

Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

Hi, my name is Shaista! I was born in Pakistan and now live in Houston, Texas. I enjoy living here but also love visiting my family back home. A fun fact about me is that I love cooking and baking.

I joined Primrose in 2025 with over six years of childcare experience. The best part of my job is spending time with children and teaching them something meaningful every day. Enhancing their learning centers is my favorite part of teaching because it makes learning fun and engaging for students!

Small Group

Primrose Schools utilizes small group instruction as a key component of their Balanced Learning approach. This approach combines small-group and and one-on-one instruction to foster a well-rounded learning experience for young children providing attentive and individualized care for learning needs. In this photo, you will see our students practicing letter recognition, writing, and counting syllables of words.

Art Center

Our Balanced Learning curriculum through their Early Art Masters program. This program introduces children to various artists and art techniques, encouraging them to explore different art media and create their own masterpieces. The goal is to stimulate imagination, foster creative thinking, and build important motor skills.
