Our Infant Classroom

We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Young Infant Lead Teacher

Hello! I’m Pam Escobedo, and I’m so proud to be the Lead Teacher in the Younger Infant classroom at Primrose School of Atascocita, a place I’ve called home since 2013! Teaching infants is my true passion. I love helping little ones hit their milestones and watching them grow and discover the world around them. It’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of their early developmental journey.

When I’m not at Primrose, I’m spending time with my energetic nieces and nephews, who keep me on my toes! With ages ranging from 3 to 8, there’s never a dull moment. We enjoy family movie days and, of course, indulging in some delicious Mexican food together.

Thank you for trusting me with your precious little ones – it’s an honor to be part of their lives and help guide them as they begin their learning adventures!

Hi there! I’m Melanie, and I’m so excited to be back in Texas after moving from Tennessee to be closer to our four beautiful grandbabies. My husband and I have been married for over 27 years, and we both grew up in Huffman, TX. We’ve always been outdoor enthusiasts with a love for camping and spending time in nature.

With over 20 years of experience in childcare, I’m passionate about working with children of all ages. I hold two CDA (Childhood Development Associate) credentials—one in Infant/Toddler care and the other in Preschool. My goal is to help each child thrive and build lasting, trusted relationships with both my little ones and their families.

I’m beyond thrilled to be part of the Primrose family and look forward to the continued opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of the children I care for!
