Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Madison Witherwax

Preschool 1 Assistant Teacher

Hello! My name is Madison, and I grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana, before moving to Texas in the third grade. I’ve been working at Rowland Ballard since 2020 and I also volunteer at my church, Christ the King. Currently, I am pursuing my nursing degree at Lone Star Community College, with aspirations to become a pediatric nurse.

One of the highlights of my day is when the children run up to me, shouting “Ms. Madi! Ms. Madi!” and give me big hugs. It’s those moments that remind me why I love coming to work each day and makes it all so rewarding!

Hi, my name is Daniela. I was born in Managua, Nicaragua, and moved to Texas at a young age. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and spending quality time with my friends and family.

I have a strong passion for working with children and love learning something new from them every day. I am excited to get to know my students and their families and look forward to a wonderful year together.

Literacy Fun!

Primrose School of Atascocita places a strong emphasis on early literacy development as a core part of their curriculum, utilizing their Balanced Learning approach. This approach blends purposeful play with teacher-led instruction, recognizing that the early years are critical for building a foundation in reading and writing. Here, our students enjoy playing bingo while learning vocabulary acquisition, improving reading comprehension, and strengthen phonics skills.

Art Center - Early Art Masters

Our Balanced Learning curriculum through their Early Art Masters program. This program introduces children to various artists and art techniques, encouraging them to explore different art media and create their own masterpieces. The goal is to stimulate imagination, foster creative thinking, and build important motor skills.

Writing Center

Writing is an important part of a child's development. Primrose School of Atascocita focuses on early childhood education, incorporating writing skills development through our Balanced Learning approach, which combines purposeful play with nurturing guidance.

Block Center

At Primrose Schools, the block center is more than just a place for stacking and building; it's a space designed to foster essential skills in young children. Here you will see students using their creativity to create roads and ramps for toy cars!
