Our Infant Classroom
We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Our Infant Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Angelica De Souza
Ms. Angelica De Souza is an Infant Teacher at Primrose School of Woburn, where she brings four years of focused experience with infants. She is EEC teacher certified for infants and toddlers and uses her knowledge of early developmental milestones to plan care that fits each child’s stage, temperament, and daily routines.
In the infant classroom, Ms. De Souza builds learning into the moments children experience throughout the day. Puppet shows, hands-on art, shared reading, and music give infants opportunities to listen, respond, reach, explore texture, and begin forming social connections. She observes closely and adjusts routines with care, helping each child’s feeding, rest, comfort, and exploration feel consistent between home and school.
Ms. De Souza is known for her attention to detail and her responsiveness to both children and families. She values infancy as a time when trust, curiosity, and early communication begin to take shape through steady, thoughtful care.

Ms. Marissa Laventure
Ms. Marissa Laventure is an infant classroom teacher at Primrose School of Woburn. Since joining the school in 2023, Ms. Laventure has brought experience from both preschool and kindergarten classrooms, giving her a clear understanding of the developmental path children follow from their earliest years into formal school routines. She is EEC teacher certified.
Her background also includes teaching swimming to children, an experience that strengthened her ability to give calm direction, build confidence gradually, and support children when they are trying something new. In the infant classroom, Ms. Laventure’s steady presence helps children move through daily care routines, sensory exploration, music, early language moments, and one-on-one interactions with a sense of consistency.
Ms. Laventure is known for being calm and reassuring. Families can count on her to bring patience, composure, and attentiveness to infant care while helping young children begin building trust, awareness, and comfort with the classroom rhythm.

Ms. Alexandria Huertas
Ms. Alexandria Huertas is an infant teacher at Primrose School of Woburn. She earned her degree in Early Education and Care and has been working with infants and toddlers since 2013. She is EEC teacher certified and brings more than a decade of early childhood experience to her classroom.
Ms. Huertas’s background with infants and toddlers gives her a strong understanding of the developmental steps children take before entering preschool. In the preschool classroom, she uses that perspective to support language growth, independence, peer interaction, routines, and developmental milestones. She understands how much progress comes from patient repetition, attentive observation, and daily opportunities for children to practice new skills.
Ms. Huertas is motivated by the opportunity to come into the classroom each day and help children grow, learn, and reach new milestones. Her long-term experience helps families feel confident that she understands how early development builds from one stage to the next.

Her broad experience helps her recognize developmental cues, respond thoughtfully, and communicate clearly with families.
In the infant classroom, Ms. Camargo uses books, songs, sensory play, and age-appropriate art activities to support early language, movement, curiosity, and connection. She pays close attention to each child’s routines and responses, using warm interactions and consistent care to help babies explore with growing confidence. She also values regular communication with parents, sharing meaningful updates about their child’s experiences and development.

One of her favorite classroom activities is singing with the children, which supports early listening, sound recognition, shared attention, and the comforting repetition infants need in their daily routines. Her calm presence also helps make transitions, care routines, and sensory experiences feel steady for young children.
