Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mrs. Kiran Badola
Preschool Pathways & Kindergarten Faculty Member

Ms. Kiran Badola is a Faculty Support Member at Primrose School of Chelmsford, where she supports Preschool Pathways and Kindergarten classrooms. With 10 years of experience in education, Ms. Badola brings a patient, relationship-focused approach to helping children build confidence, independence, and strong social skills. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, is EEC teacher certified, and has completed coursework in child growth and development. She is also certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED safety training. Prior to joining Primrose, Ms. Badola worked in elementary school settings with children from kindergarten through fourth grade, providing instructional support, implementing behavior plans, and working with students in both small-group and one-on-one settings.

In the classroom, Ms. Badola uses small-group literacy and math activities, sensory play, songs, and movement experiences to help children stay engaged and supported in their learning. She values individualized instruction and works closely with each child’s unique learning style and developmental needs. Ms. Badola also encourages independence by helping children practice problem-solving, make choices confidently, follow routines, and develop self-help skills throughout the school day.

Ms. Badola especially enjoys children’s curiosity, creativity, and energy, and she finds it rewarding to help them feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. She believes strong communication between teachers and families creates the best environment for children’s growth and development. Outside of school, Ms. Badola enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and going on trails.

Mrs. Ellen Socha

Ms. Ellen Socha is a Teacher in the Kindergarten program at Primrose School of Chelmsford, where she brings nine years of early childhood education experience and a creative, child-centered approach to learning. Ms. Socha holds a BS in Communications Media and is EEC teacher certified for infants/toddlers and preschool. She is also CPR and First Aid certified. Before transitioning into classroom teaching, she worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor, teaching water safety and swimming skills to children of all ages. She later joined the YMCA of Central Massachusetts as a preschool assistant teacher, where she gained experience in curriculum development, classroom management, and supporting multiple age groups. After joining Primrose School of Chelmsford in 2023, she worked in Preschool Pathways before moving into the Kindergarten classroom in 2024.

In the classroom, Ms. Socha emphasizes creativity, independence, and active participation in learning. She incorporates arts and crafts, music, dramatic play, and hands-on activities to help children stay engaged and build confidence. She especially enjoys helping children learn to read and loves seeing the excitement that comes with those “aha” moments as children grow from non-readers into confident learners. Ms. Socha also encourages self-help skills and gives children opportunities to make choices and take ownership in their classroom community.

Outside of school, Ms. Socha enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter.

Ms. Nicole St.John
Kindergarten Faculty Member

Ms. Nicole St. John is the Kindergarten teacher at Primrose School of Chelmsford, where she brings more than 22 years of early childhood education experience to the classroom. She holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and is Director 1 and Director 2 certified, along with CPR and First Aid certification. Throughout her career, Ms. St. John has worked in a variety of preschool and pre-kindergarten teaching roles, including lead teacher positions at Little Sprouts, Here We Grow, A Place to Grow, and Next Generation.

In the Kindergarten classroom, Ms. St. John creates engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage children to participate, build confidence, and strengthen social-emotional skills. She believes children learn best when they are actively involved in classroom activities and supported through positive relationships with both teachers and peers. Ms. St. John values strong partnerships with families and works closely with parents to help children grow academically, socially, and emotionally during this important stage of development.

One of Ms. St. John’s favorite parts of teaching is seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they accomplish a new task or master a new skill. Outside the classroom, she enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and caring for her many pets. As a parent of two boys who have attended Primrose School of Chelmsford, she also brings a parent’s perspective to her work with families.
