Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Gabrielle Salvatore

Ms. Gabrielle Salvatore
Early Preschool Faculty Member

Ms. Gabrielle Salvatore is an Early Preschool Teacher at Primrose School of Chelmsford, where she works with children in the Early Preschool program. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree with concentrations in Psychology and Education and is EEC teacher certified. Ms. Salvatore is also CPR and First Aid certified. Her educational background, combined with her early childhood experience, helps her support children during a stage of rapid social, emotional, and language development.

Before joining Primrose School of Chelmsford, Ms. Salvatore worked at a summer camp with children of all ages, leading hands-on science experiments and interactive activities. She also spent much of her life babysitting, experiences that strengthened her ability to build strong relationships with children and families. In the classroom, Ms. Salvatore focuses on helping children build self-help skills and independence through play-based learning and child-led exploration. She incorporates art projects, movement activities, songs, dance, and yoga into the day to help children stay engaged while supporting creativity, communication, and emotional regulation.

Ms. Salvatore especially enjoys watching children’s communication and social skills develop during the early preschool years and values building positive, consistent relationships with families. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling and reading.

Mrs. Jennifer Pender

Mrs. Jennifer Pender
Early Preschool Faculty Member

Ms. Jennifer Pender is a Classroom Teacher in the Early Preschool program at Primrose School of Chelmsford. She is EEC teacher certified and has completed CPR and First Aid training along with early childhood coursework focused on supporting young children’s development. Although this is her first position in a childcare center, Ms. Pender brings a strong personal commitment to early childhood education and a thoughtful understanding of how children grow socially, emotionally, and academically during the preschool years.

In the classroom, Ms. Pender creates hands-on learning experiences that keep children actively engaged through movement, music, and interactive play. One of her favorite activities is Harmony and Heart, where children explore body movements, sing songs, and build confidence through group participation and self-expression. She enjoys watching children expand their vocabulary, develop friendships, and become more confident communicators throughout the year. Ms. Pender also values maintaining open communication with families so parents feel connected to their child’s progress both academically and socially.

Outside of school, Ms. Pender enjoys spending time with her large blended family of eight children, whose ages range from 8 to 29. Her experiences as both a parent and educator continue to shape the patience, flexibility, and perspective she brings into the classroom each day.

Ms. Jessica DuBose is an Early Preschool Teacher at Primrose School of Chelmsford, where she helps young children build confidence, independence, and early academic skills through play-based learning. She holds an associate degree in Liberal Arts with a focus in Psychology and is CPR and First Aid certified. With seven years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. DuBose brings a thoughtful, energetic approach to supporting children during an important stage of social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Before joining Primrose School of Chelmsford, Ms. DuBose worked with toddlers and early preschool-aged children at The Learning Experience and supported children under age five in a gym daycare setting. Her classroom approach is hands-on, child-centered, and rooted in exploration. She creates engaging learning experiences that encourage children to build academic, social, and problem-solving skills through dramatic play, creative projects, movement activities, and real-world connections. Ms. DuBose especially enjoys watching children’s curiosity and personalities develop as they gain confidence in themselves and their relationships with others.

Families appreciate Ms. DuBose’s supportive communication style and her focus on creating an engaging classroom environment where children feel encouraged to participate, explore, and try new things. Outside of school, she enjoys camping, attending live music events, reading mystery books, crafting, playing video games, and spending time with her dog, Little Bear.

Ms. Madison LaFleur brings heartfelt enthusiasm and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds to the Primrose School of Chelmsford. While new to the field, her eagerness to learn and unwavering dedication to making a difference set her apart.

With a deep-seated desire to pursue a career in education, Ms. LaFleur is embarking on courses this fall to further develop her skills and knowledge. Drawn to Primrose for its supportive environment and strong sense of community, she is excited to grow alongside her students and colleagues.

Coming from a large family, Ms. LaFleur has experienced both the joys and challenges of caring for children, equipping her with adaptability, resilience, and a nurturing spirit—key qualities for meeting the dynamic needs of young learners.

Her commitment to learning and her natural affinity for working with children make her a valued addition to our team. We are thrilled to support her growth and look forward to the positive impact she will have on the children she teaches.

Ms. Ashley Martinez

Ms. Ashley Martinez is an Early Preschool Teacher at Primrose School of Chelmsford, where she works with children ages 1.9–2.9 years old. With 14 years of early childhood education experience, Ms. Martinez brings a warm, hands-on approach focused on helping young children build confidence, independence, and curiosity through everyday learning experiences. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential through Middlesex Community College and is Lead Teacher certified, as well as CPR and First Aid certified. Her background in early childhood education began at Greater Lowell Technical High School and has continued through years of classroom experience working with young children.

In the classroom, Ms. Martinez creates engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children’s social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development. She incorporates small-group literacy activities, sensory play, music and movement, art projects, outdoor exploration, and early math activities into daily routines. She also focuses on helping children develop self-help skills such as handwashing, cleaning up, and following routines, while providing individualized support to help each child feel confident, supported, and included.

Ms. Martinez especially enjoys watching children discover new skills, build friendships, and express their unique personalities through play and exploration. She values strong partnerships with families and believes open communication and consistency help create the best experience for every child. Outside of school, she enjoys caring for animals, creating crafts with her Cricut machine, and designing handmade projects in her free time.

Ms. Cassandra Bello

Ms. Cassie Bello is an Early Preschool teacher at Primrose Schools’s Primrose School of Chelmsford, where she has worked with young learners in Room 7 since 2022. With four years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Bello creates a classroom environment that helps preschool children build independence, communication skills, and confidence through consistent routines and hands-on learning experiences. She is EEC teacher certified and also holds CPR and First Aid certifications.

Ms. Bello’s classroom combines structured learning with purposeful play. She leads small-group literacy activities, sensory exploration, songs and movement, early math games, art projects, and outdoor play designed to keep children actively engaged throughout the day. One of her favorite classroom activities is open-ended art projects that encourage children to explore materials, experiment with colors and textures, and express their ideas in their own ways. She also focuses on helping children develop practical self-help skills, including handwashing, feeding, and classroom cleanup, while encouraging social growth through sharing, communication, and collaborative play. Ms. Bello values strong partnerships with families and maintains ongoing communication through daily updates and conversations tailored to each child’s development and individual needs.

One of Ms. Bello’s favorite parts of teaching is watching children gain confidence, reach new milestones, and develop lasting friendships with their peers. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, going on walks and runs with her dog, and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Rachel Hunt is an Early Preschool faculty member at Primrose School of Chelmsford, where she brings eight years of childcare experience to the classroom. Ms. Hunt earned her Associate Degree from Middlesex Community College in 2021 and is EEC certified. She enjoys helping young children build confidence, reach developmental milestones, and discover new interests through hands-on learning and positive daily interactions.

In the Early Preschool classroom, Ms. Hunt incorporates small-group learning activities that encourage curiosity and engagement. One of her favorite classroom experiences is the butterfly learning project, where children observe caterpillars transform into butterflies while practicing observation and discussion skills together. She values strong communication with families and believes building relationships with parents helps her better support each child’s growth, personality, and individual needs. Ms. Hunt also focuses on creating a classroom environment where children feel comfortable, excited to learn, and happy to connect with their teachers and peers.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Hunt enjoys drawing, spending time with family and friends, and following soccer with her niece. One of her favorite children’s books is Love You Forever by Robert Munsch, and she is currently learning to speak Portuguese.
