Franchise Owner
Colleen and Nathan Clemens
Meet Colleen and Nathan Clemens proud Franchise Owners of Primrose School of Beavercreek. The Clemens began their entrepreneurial journey with Primrose Schools in 2012. They are proud to bring the Primrose experience, offering premier early education and care, to families in the Beavercreek community. Colleen and Nathan are no strangers to the Primrose brand. In fact, Primrose has been a large part of their family for many years. Their family’s story with Primrose started when Nathan’s sister began searching for early education and care options for her own son before deciding to enroll him in a Primrose school in Ohio. Extremely impressed with the Primrose experience and the positive impact it had on her son, Nathan’s sister began researching the opportunity to open her own school. It was Nathan’s sister’s own experience as a Primrose parent and later Franchise Owner that inspired other family members, including Colleen and Nathan, to get involved with Primrose. Over the years, the families have individually owned and operated several schools in Tennessee and Ohio.
Prior to becoming Franchise Owners, Colleen worked as an Operations Analyst for Exel and in international logistics for The J.M. Smucker Co. Nathan currently works as a project manager for his family’s custom home building business, overseeing construction of new homes and building projects in the Dayton, Ohio area. They are both graduates of Ohio University where Colleen earned a dual degree in international studies and Spanish and Nathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in business management. Shortly after graduating, Colleen continued her Spanish studies by moving to Spain for a year and teaching English at a bilingual day care center and an after-school academy for adults and children. She credits this experience with building her initial passion for early education and also how she and her family live their lives today, fully present and in the moment.
Colleen and Nathan have four children who have all shared in the Primrose journey with them. Their three oldest children, Callie, Mack and Rory, who are now school-aged, return each summer for Primrose Summer Adventure Camp. They look forward to it each year. Their youngest, Palmer, is currently a student at Primrose absorbed in her early education journey!
The Clemens’ are proud to offer high quality education and care to Beavercreek and surrounding area families and provide them with an atmosphere where children can grow their Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts.
