Our Infant Classroom

We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hello! My name is Annie.  My journey with children began as a dedicated volunteer in my grandson’s classroom, where I quickly discovered my passion for supporting young learners. That experience inspired me to continue helping in before- and after-school programs, deepening my love for working with children.

I’m a proud high school graduate and also completed two years of college coursework in child psychology. This education has given me a strong foundation in understanding and supporting each child’s unique developmental needs.

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is witnessing children’s growth—seeing their curiosity bloom and watching them reach new levels of understanding and confidence. I especially enjoy exploring stories about dinosaurs with children, as their wonder and imagination always bring those prehistoric worlds to life.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy expressing my creativity through sewing, crafting, and creating decorations. These hobbies bring me joy and often inspire fun classroom projects, too!

Hello My name is Jenny Rauch.

I’m from Dayton Ohio, and have lived in the Kettering and Beavercreek areas all my life. I have an Associates Degree in Nursing, with many years experience as a Registered Nurse. I worked with newborns, and some pediatric experience. I am also involved in my Church, nursery and Sunday school. Something I love about my job is connecting with the families and children. I love coming to work to see their smiling faces. In my spare time I love traveling, camping, and reading. I also love quiet weekends at home.

Hello! My name is Lavonda. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, and I’m passionate about helping little ones learn and grow each day.

I’m a high school graduate and hold my CDA for Infants and Toddlers. One of my favorite things about working with children is when they see you, smile, and give you hugs — those sweet, genuine moments make every day special. Watching them grow and reach new milestones is such a joy.

My favorite children’s book is Goodnight Moon, a timeless classic that never fails to bring comfort and smiles at storytime. My favorite holiday is Christmas, and one of my favorite family traditions is going to McDonald’s with my daughter every Christmas morning, then spending the rest of the day watching Christmas shows and celebrating with family.

I have five cats — Callie, Rye, Russell, Bonnie, and Claire — who keep life entertaining!

In my personal time, I enjoy watching classic TV shows, teaching my daughter how to cook, and being involved with my church community.

Our family would love to meet yours.
