Our Preschool Pathways Classroom

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.

Health & Safety

Their health & safety. Our top priority.

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever-free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Individual cots and blankets provided for each child, laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • Monthly emergency drills to ensure children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Dominique McClure
Preschool Pathways Teacher

Hi, my name is Dominique, I was born in Washington, D.C., but I have called Ohio home for the past ten years. I am a proud mother of two and have always had a passion for working with and caring for children. Outside of teaching, I enjoy gardening and hiking, and I love spending time with my family. I attended college in Philadelphia, where I earned an A.S. in Liberal Arts with an Early Childhood Care concentration.

My experience working with children includes caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. I have worked as both an assistant and lead teacher, and I truly enjoy watching children reach their milestones, both big and small.

When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me reading The Secret Garden, crocheting, sewing, playing video games, or enjoying family time. I also love Sunday dinners with my extended family and spending time with my Australian Shepherd, Snoope. I look forward to creating a warm, nurturing classroom where every child feels supported, encouraged, and celebrated as they learn and grow!

Preschool Pathways Teacher

Hi! My name is Julie, and I have been working in childcare for 15 years. I have experience working with toddlers, infants, and preschoolers, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. I truly love working with children and especially enjoy seeing their excitement when they learn something new and watching them explore the world around them.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, writing, and watching movies. I have two dogs, Lily and Penny, and two cats, Grace and Gracie. My favorite holiday is Halloween, and one of my favorite family traditions is wearing Christmas pajamas and watching Christmas movies together.

Our family would love to meet yours.
