Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Our Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Madelyn Smith
Hello! My name is Madelyn. I’ve been working with children for over fourteen years and have had the joy of supporting infants through school-age children. My experience includes babysitting, shadowing a Registered Behavior Technician, and working closely with children with autism. I’ve also held roles supporting college students as a statistics lab assistant and spent two years creating and selling children’s jewelry, all of which have helped me build a well-rounded perspective on child development and education.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience, and my Master of Science in Neuroscience and Physiology. I am certified in First Aid, CPR, and RBT. My favorite part of working with children is seeing their innocence, curiosity, and sweetness shine. Helping them learn, grow, and build confidence is what inspires me every day.
My favorite children’s book is Harry Potter, and my favorite holiday is Halloween.
I have two cats named Rabbit and Beep Beep, and two dogs named Lily and Beau. In my free time, I love hanging out with friends and family, watching movies—especially Bargain Tuesday trips to the Cinemark with my mom—streaming shows and YouTube, reading, journaling, listening to music, and going to concerts and festivals.

Riley Griffith
Hello! My name is Riley. I’m originally from Kettering and now live in Beavercreek. I graduated high school in 2022 and am currently at Sinclair, majoring in Psychology.
Although I’m newer to early childhood education, I’ve always had a passion for helping others learn and grow. I’m thrilled to bring my enthusiasm, curiosity, and love of learning into the classroom this year!
My favorite children’s book series is The Magic Treehouse. I’ve always loved how it combines imagination, adventure, and learning all in one! My favorite foods are breakfast foods — I could eat them any time of the day. On the weekends, I love spending time with my friends and family, relaxing, and making memories together.
