Our Toddler Classroom

An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Kati Ramirez
Kati Ramirez
Toddler Teacher

Hello! My name is Kati. I’ve been working in childcare since 2021 and have gained experience with children of all ages — from infants through school-age students.

I graduated from Carroll High School and am currently attending Sinclair Community College while also earning my CDA through Primrose to continue expanding my knowledge and skills.

One of my favorite parts of working with children is getting to know both the students and their families. I love helping children grow, learn, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Seeing their curiosity spark and their confidence bloom brings me so much joy!

My favorite children’s book is Pete the Cat and His Groovy Buttons. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, cheering on Kentucky (Go UK!), and watching football games.

Toddler Teacher

Hello! My name is Kelly.  I have been in education since 2019 including two years with infants, two years with younger toddlers, and two years with older toddlers. Every age brings something special, and I love getting to be part of each child’s learning journey.

What I love most about working with children is being able to make a difference in their lives — seeing what they learn, how they grow, and the joy on their faces when something finally “clicks.” It’s such a rewarding experience to be part of their milestones and discoveries.

My favorite children’s book is Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, and my favorite holiday is Christmas. One of my favorite family traditions is watching The Santa Clause and The Santa Clause 2 on Christmas Eve with my family — it’s something we look forward to every year!

I have two dogs, Lilly and Remy, who are Pitbull mixes, along with a short-haired cat named Gracie.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, drawing and doodling, reading mystery and thriller books, and being outdoors whenever the weather is nice!

Our family would love to meet yours.
