Our Preschool Pathways Classroom
Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Rathbun
Hi there, I am Ms. Lili. I graduated from Shawnee Mission North in 2025 and have always had a passion for learning. In my free time I enjoy doing arts & crafts, watching anime and trying out new restaurants with my friends. I am the proud pet mom to Eros the cat and Max the dog. I have always had a passion for working with young children and I am working towards becoming an elementary school teacher. My goal at Primrose is to give every child a fun and safe environment where they can learn, grow and build all the necessary skills to become active in society.

Hi! My name is Ms. Melina and I am super excited to be helping our littles learn and grow this year! Some fun facts about me are that I love to be outside doing anything and everything and that I am also passionate about nutrition and fitness. I have been babysitting and nannying most of my life and I am so excited for my first year of teaching in a preschool setting!

I have been working and teaching children of all ages for ten years. I love making connections with the children and their parents Seeing them grow and learn bring me so much joy. In my spare time I love to listen to music and dance

Olivia Becker
Hello, my name is Olivia! I am currently pursuing my degree in Secondary Education with a focus on History at JCCC. Before working at Primrose I spent time babysitting and nannying, where I gained hands-on experience supporting children’s development, routines and emotional needs. Those roles taught me of patience, adaptability and the importance of creating a safe, encouraging environment for every child.
I continue to strengthen my classroom management abilities and my understanding of early childhood learning through this teaching position. As I work towards becoming a history teacher, I am grateful for every opportunity that helps me grow professionally and contribute positively to the children and families I serve.

Hi, my name is Idaly and I am the proud mom of two beautiful little girls. In my spare time, I love crafting and sewing. I have a small business, called Bows by Doll in which I make hair bows and clothing. Apart from my life at home, I enjoy teaching my two-year olds and helping children learn and grow!
