Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hi! My name is Mrs. Hink and I have been working with children for over 10 years. I graduated from Pittsburgh State University in 2022 with a degree in Child Development. I recently just got married and am the proud mom to a beautiful little girl. I love teaching children and watching them learn. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with family!

Hello, my PreK I friends! My name Ms. Sweet and I love working with children of all ages! I have over eleven years of experience in a preschool classroom setting. In my spare time, I enjoy creating digital illustrations, spending time with friends & family attending local events and spoiling my cat, Hazel Nut.
Mrs. Jackson
Hi! My name is Mrs. Jackson and I am originally from Kentucky. I have been working with children of all ages for over 12 years. I love to see them smile and learn! I have been happily married to my husband for ten years. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, braiding hair and spending time with my family!
Ms. Weidmaier
Hello! I am excited to be working with the PreK students at the Primrose School of Overland Park! I graduated with my B.S. in Elementary Education from K-State University ~ GO Cats! I was a kindergarten teacher for three years before coming to Primrose. I am the proud mom to my sweet dog, Ace. In my spare time I like coaching cheerleading, being outside and spending time with Ace. I look forward to building relationships with the students and their families!

Hi There! My name is Ms. Caitlin. I grew up in Girard, KS and graduated from Pitt State University. I recently just returned from South Korea where I taught English to young children. In my free time, I like to read mystery novels such as Sherlock Holmes. I am so excited to learn about everyone and their families!

Hello, my name is Neelam and I recently moved from Charleston, SC to Overland Park with my family. I have over six years of experience in childcare, two of which have been with Primrose. I love being a part of a team that focuses on nurturing and supporting the growth of children. I am the proud mother to two children, so I truly understand how precious they are. I am excited to meet our Primrose families and to be a part of your child’s journey.
