At Primrose School of Broadview Heights, the health and safety of our children is always our top priority. We are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and supervision while creating a caring and nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
Our health and safety practices include:
- 🌡️ Keeping everyone healthy: Children or staff with a fever are required to return home and remain home until they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours.
- 🧸 Clean & sanitized classrooms: High-touch toys, materials, and surfaces are frequently cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized throughout the day.
- 🧼 Frequent handwashing: Handwashing is an important part of our daily routine and is embedded into our curriculum and staff protocols.
- 👀 Recognizing signs of illness: Teachers receive training on common signs and symptoms of illness in children, with classroom signage serving as a daily reminder.
- 👩🏫 Proper supervision: We maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios to help ensure children receive the supervision and care they need.
- ❤️ Prepared & trained teachers: Our staff participate in ongoing health and safety training, including First Aid and CPR certification.
- 🚨 Safe School Plan: We maintain an up-to-date, customized Safe School Plan that is posted in every classroom for quick and easy teacher access.
- 🔔 Emergency preparedness: Monthly emergency drills help children and staff practice what to do so they are prepared to respond calmly and safely in an emergency.

Our Explorers had so much fun making their own individual pizzas and watching their creations come together. Of course, the best part was getting to taste our delicious masterpieces! 😋❤️

Exploring Cleveland Aquarium
Our Explorers had an amazing day at the Cleveland Aquarium, where we dove into a day of exploring, discovering, and learning about all the incredible sea creatures we could find! 🐟🦈🐙
From colorful fish to fascinating underwater animals, there was so much to see and discover. Our little explorers loved getting up close to the sea life and making memories together! 💙

Building Friendships during the Summer
This summer was filled with exciting adventures, fun field trips, and plenty of memories—but the best part of all was making true friendships along the way! 🥰
Our Explorers laughed, played, learned, and grew together throughout the summer. From classroom fun to big adventures, we watched friendships blossom and little friendships turn into special connections that we hope will last for years to come. 🌟👫
