Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more.

Health & Safety
💙 Early Preschool Health & Safety
Our Early Preschool friends are becoming more independent every day, and our health and safety practices help them explore, learn, and grow while staying safe and well cared for.
- 🧼 Frequent handwashing: Children and teachers wash hands throughout the day, especially before meals, after toileting, after outdoor play, and whenever needed.
- 🧸 Clean & sanitized classrooms: Toys, tables, learning materials, and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- 👀 Active supervision: Teachers continuously supervise children and maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios.
- 🍎 Safe mealtimes: Teachers supervise children while eating and follow appropriate food safety and choking-prevention practices.
- 🚽 Building independence: Children are supported as they develop toileting, handwashing, and other self-help skills.
- 🌡️ Illness awareness: Teachers monitor children for signs of illness and follow Primrose health policies when a child becomes sick.
- 🛝 Safe outdoor play: Our age-appropriate playgrounds provide opportunities for children to build gross motor skills while teachers actively supervise.
- 🧠 Learning through play: Our Balanced Learning® curriculum provides developmentally appropriate activities while teachers keep safety and individual needs in mind.
- ❤️ First Aid & CPR: Staff receive ongoing health and safety training, including required First Aid and CPR certification.
- 🚨 Emergency preparedness: Teachers follow our Safe School Plan and participate in regular emergency drills.
- 📱 Family communication: Parents should keep emergency contacts, medical information, allergies, and authorized pickup information up to date.
- 👕 Extra clothing: Please keep an extra change of weather-appropriate clothing in your child’s classroom in case of spills, accidents, or outdoor play.

🌸 Meet Miss Celia! 🌸
We are so excited to welcome Miss Celia to our Primrose School of Broadview Heights family as an Early Preschool 1 teacher! 💕🧸
Miss Celia lives in Garfield Heights and brings an amazing six years of experience working with young children! 🌟 She loves watching children grow, learn, and discover new things while knowing she is making a positive difference in their lives. 🌱💛
Her favorite children’s book is Green Eggs and Ham 📚💚 — the very first book that was ever read to her as a child! It holds a special place in her heart, and we love that she gets to share her love of books and storytelling with our little learners. 🥰

Ms. Alexis lives in Middleburg Heights and has been teaching young children for just over a year! She loves being part of those special early years and watching children grow, learn, and reach exciting new milestones. 🌱✨
Her favorite children’s books are all things Pete the Cat! 🐱📚🎶 She loves narrating these fun stories and keeping the children entertained with Pete’s adventures. And of course, those catchy songs make story time even more fun! 🎵😄
Ms. Alexis loves teaching because she gets to watch each child grow and be part of helping them reach their milestones. 💛 She is so happy to be at Primrose and can’t wait to build wonderful relationships with our children and families!

🌟 Meet Ms. Ivon! 🌟
We are so excited to welcome Ms. Ivon to our Primrose School of Broadview Heights family as our Early Preschool 2 teacher! 💕🧸
Ms. Ivon has been working with young children for four years and absolutely loves creating meaningful connections with her students. She enjoys getting to know each child, understanding how their little minds work, and finding fun and creative ways to help them learn and grow! 🌱📚✨
One of her favorite childhood book series is The Magic Tree House 📖🌳 because it sparked her imagination while teaching the importance of teamwork and helping others. 🤝💛
And here’s a fun fact about Ms. Ivon… she is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish! 🇺🇸🇪🇸

Natasha
Hi! 🌸 My name is Natasha, and I am an Early Preschool Teacher here at Primrose! 👧✨ I live in Strongsville, Ohio, and I have ten years of experience working in childcare, especially with older infants. 👶💛 I joined the Primrose family in March 2022 and have loved every moment since! 🌈
I earned my Associate of Arts Degree from Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) in May 2022 🎓📚.
One of my favorite children’s books is 📖 The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss 🎩🐱 because it was always one of my favorite stories growing up! I also love how it highlights the importance of teamwork and working together. 💕
I truly enjoy working with children and sharing the joy of reading with them 📚😊. I especially love helping the children in my classroom explore new activities, discover the world around them, and build confidence through hands-on learning and play 🌟🧩
