💙 Preschool Health & Safety
Our Preschool friends are becoming more independent, curious, and confident every day. We focus on giving them opportunities to learn, explore, and build independence while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- 🧼 Frequent handwashing: Children and teachers wash hands throughout the day, especially before meals, after bathroom use, after outdoor play, and whenever needed.
- 🧸 Clean & sanitized spaces: Toys, tables, learning materials, and high-touch surfaces are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
- 👀 Active supervision: Teachers continuously supervise children and maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios.
- 🍎 Safe mealtimes: Children are supervised while eating, and teachers follow appropriate food safety and choking-prevention practices.
- 🚽 Growing independence: Children are encouraged to take responsibility for bathroom routines, handwashing, cleaning up, and other self-help skills.
- 🌡️ Illness awareness: Teachers monitor children for signs of illness and follow Primrose health and exclusion policies when a child is sick.
- 🛝 Outdoor safety: Age-appropriate playgrounds give children opportunities to run, climb, balance, and strengthen gross motor skills while being actively supervised.
- 🧠 Learning through play: Our Balanced Learning® curriculum provides developmentally appropriate experiences while teachers support each child’s individual needs.
- ❤️ Prepared teachers: Staff receive ongoing health and safety training, including required First Aid and CPR certification.
- 🚨 Emergency preparedness: Teachers follow our customized Safe School Plan and participate in regular emergency drills.
- 📱 Family communication: Parents should keep emergency contacts, medical information, allergies, and authorized pickup information current.
- 👕 Extra clothing: Please keep an extra set of weather-appropriate clothing available for spills, accidents, and messy learning adventures.
Our goal is to give every Preschool child the confidence to become more independent while knowing they have caring teachers there to guide, support, and keep them safe. 💙🌟

Ms. Summer
Hi! 🌸 My name is Summer, and I am thrilled to be part of the Primrose School of Broadview Heights family as a Preschool Teacher! 👧✨ I live in Cleveland, and I have been teaching young children for fourteen years! 🍎💛 I started at Primrose in February 2026, and I absolutely love being part of such a caring and engaging learning environment. 🌈
I graduated from Le Moyne College with a degree in English Literature and Elementary Education 🎓📚.
One of my favorite children’s books is 📖 Anne of Green Gables 🌿✨ because I admire Anne’s imagination, curiosity, and love of learning. One of my favorite books to read with children is 📖 Chicka Chicka Boom Boom 🌴🔤 because the rhythm turns storytime into a fun musical experience full of movement, participation, and excitement! 🎶😊
One of the things I love most about Primrose is the meaningful interactions we share with our students 💕. Watching children learn, grow, and gain confidence every day is truly rewarding and such a blessing! 🌟
A few fun facts about me: 📣 I coach cheerleading in my spare time, and growing up as the child of a naval officer gave me the opportunity to live in many different states! 🌎✨ I also absolutely love reading, and literacy for all children is one of my greatest passions. 📚💛 I truly have the heart of both a teacher and a coach!

🌸 Meet Brianna! 🌸
We are so excited to welcome Brianna to the Primrose School of Broadview Heights family as our newest Preschool Teacher! 🍎
Brianna has been a teacher for six years and loves watching children grow, learn, and discover new things. One of her favorite parts of teaching is hearing the funny, sweet, and sometimes unexpected things children say! 💕 She is passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives and helping them grow every day.
Outside of the classroom, Brianna is a proud mom of two girls who mean the world to her! 👩👧👧 When she isn’t busy being a mom or teaching, she enjoys cooking, reading, and diving into a good arts and crafts project. 🎨📚🍳
Brianna is also continuing her education and is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. 🎓 We love her dedication to growing both personally and professionally!
