Our Infant Classroom

We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a childโ€™s success in the years that follow. Thatโ€™s why teachers in your childโ€™s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ‘ถ Meet Ms. Laura! ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐ŸŒŸ

Hi everyone! My name is Laura, and Iโ€™m an Infant Teacher at Primrose School of Broadview Heightsย ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ“š

I have spent the last 30 years working with children from just 6 weeks old through school age ๐Ÿผโžก๏ธ๐ŸŽ’, and I joined Primrose in August 2021! ๐ŸŽ‰

I studied Child Development at University of Akron ๐ŸŽ“ while working at the universityโ€™s Child Development Center. I also attended Kent State University where I studied Kโ€“12 Education ๐ŸŽโœ๏ธ

One of my favorite books to read is the classic childrenโ€™s story Are You My Mother? ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿฆ I loved reading it to my son when he was little, and now that heโ€™s older, he can read it back to me ๐Ÿ’•

The BEST part of teaching is seeing the โœจ glow in a childโ€™s eyes โœจ when they learn something new. Knowing Iโ€™ve helped make a difference in their lives is such a wonderful feeling โค๏ธ

I believe children learn best when they are engaged, encouraged, and having fun while learning ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿงฉ๐ŸŒˆ
