Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom
Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more, because when they are mentally, physically and emotionally ready to learn a skill, they develop mastery.

Lanise McKelvey
I’m Mrs. Lanice, and I’m excited to tell you a little about myself!
I was born and raised in Houston, TX, and I am a proud mother of three wonderful children who have blessed me with the joy of being a grandmother. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, watching movies, and taking on fun DIY projects. Some fun facts about me are that I love Florida beaches, mowing my grass, creating art, and, of course, being a teacher!
I hold an Associate’s Degree in Child Development and have been working in childcare for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with and support so many wonderful children and families!
My main focus in the classroom is creating a sense of routine, stability, and security so children feel comfortable and confident as they learn and grow. I love giving children opportunities to express themselves through art, creativity, and hands-on learning while making sure they are having fun along the way. I look forward to creating meaningful memories and helping each child reach their fullest potential!

Vikki Zielinsky
Hello, my name is Vikki, and I began my journey at Primrose as a Toddler Assistant Teacher. I’m excited to now be the Lead Pre-Kindergarten 2 Teacher! Originally from Kissimmee, Florida, I’ve been happily married to my husband, Justin, for 25 years, and we have two wonderful children, Emily and Ethan.
In my spare time, I love to travel, especially on cruises. With over 20 years of experience in childcare, what I enjoy most at Primrose School of Atascocita is the opportunity to watch the students grow and develop every day. Thank you for entrusting me with your children—I’m grateful to be a part of their journey!

Amya Mosley
Hi! I’m Ms. Maya, and I’m excited to share a little about myself!
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and I have four years of experience working in childcare. One of my favorite parts of working with children is watching them have fun, laugh, and learn through play. I love creating a positive and engaging environment where children feel comfortable exploring, learning, and being themselves.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and getting creative with arts and crafts. I’m also a big football fan, and of course, my favorite team is the Houston Texans!
I’m excited to get to know each child and family and look forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, and lots of special memories!
