I’d like to tell you about myself, my family and my Primrose Story. Growing up, my parents instilled strong family values in me that I continue to pass on to this day. One of the most rewarding things that I have ever done is raise my children! With my children being older now, I want to get involved in the community and make a difference in the world. I aim to provide the same high standard of care that I expect for my own children. This is what led me to opening the Primrose School of Shawnee. Primrose Schools provides a nurturing environment that feels like an extension of your own family.

Originally from Indiana, I graduated from Northern Illinois University and moved to Kansas. I have franchiser business experience and I have experience running a center and childcare. I understand the daunting challenges of balancing a career and family. At the school, I plan to handle the day-to-day operations, working closely with parents, children and staff. I am married to my awesome husband, Phil. I have three loving and amazing children; Alyssa, Abigail, and Dalton.

I’m Mrs. Alyssa Curry. I wanted to tell you about myself. I have a husband, Nathan and a yellow lab named Bubba. Nathan is a fireman who comes out to Primrose to teach the children about fire safety! We got married in November of 2024! I love spending time with my friends and family outside of work. I enjoy working out, playing pickleball, and spending my summers at the lake!! I graduated from the University of Kansas where I played softball; I was a centerfielder. I have my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Business. I also recently got my Associates in Child Development. I love working with children and seeing them grow every day. I love seeing them smile! My favorite thing is when I go into a classroom and students tell me stories about their weekends. At Primrose, we’re more than a team of child care specialists. I’m Mrs. Abby Wood. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have been working at the Primrose School of Shawnee for over 6 years! I graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in unified early childhood education with an emphasis in special education and a certificate in service learning. I am a licensed teacher from birth to 3rd grade. I have been a Kindergarten teacher, Advanced pre-kindergarten teacher, and I am now the Curriculum Director at the Primrose School of Shawnee. Working in early childhood education is my passion and I have always loved it! I am excited to work on curriculum in all the classrooms and support the needs of all the teachers and students! I’m Mrs. Nicolette Graham. I wanted to tell you some interesting things about myself. I was born in Arizona, but spent most of my life in Shawnee, KS. I live in Edwardsville, KS with my husband Travis and our two dachshunds Kauffman and Dodger. I love trying new foods, so our family picks a new place once a month to try out. I also love to shop at my favorite local boutiques and shops, but I am always looking for new ones to take my nieces to. Growing up my mom had licensed daycares and it was her love of children that really fostered a desire in me to teach.  I have been with Primrose over 19 years this September. I really enjoy every aspect of the job, but especially getting to know each of the children and their families. In my spare time, I enjoy coloring, reading, watching sports, and taking walks with my husband and dogs. At Primrose, we’re more than a team of child care specialists. I’m Ms. Davis, I wanted to tell you a little about myself. My daughter and I live with our dog Baxter in Prairie Village. Together we enjoy spending time outdoors, I also love playing volleyball and look forward to teaching my daughter how to play someday! I graduated from Shawnee Mission South in 2014, and started doing nursing classes when I realized early childhood education was where I was the happiest. Other than working with kids, I have my own photography LLC and fill extra free time of mine capturing weddings. I have worked with Primrose since 2017 and continue to enjoy every minute! I’m Mr. Bates. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have been working at the Primrose School of Shawnee since July of 2019. Before that I helped in our in-home daycare. I currently attend the University of Kansas. I am getting my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In my spare time, I like to watch football and play yard games with my friends. I love playing cornhole; I like to play in cornhole tournaments at KU. I used to play baseball; it was my favorite sport as a kid. At Primrose, we’re more than a team of child care specialists. We are happy to announce Ms. Borisouth as our Apple of the Eye for the month of March! Ms. Borisouth started with us when we opened our third infant room here at the Primrose School of Shawnee. She has been an amazing additional to our school and team! Ms. Borisouth is from Kansas City, Kansas and now lives in Overland Park, Kansas. She is engaged and has to children and one dog. Both of her children, Ava and Liam attend school here! Ms. Borisouth has over two years of experience teaching in the childcare setting. Her favorite thing about teaching is creating connections with each child and watching them grow. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her favorite colors are pink and purple, and her favorite foods are Pho and Tacos. She wanted to share that she really enjoys what she does. We feel so fortunate to have such a caring and devoted teacher like Ms. Borisouth on our team!

I’m Mrs. Reed. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have been at the Primrose School of Shawnee since February 2024. I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. I now reside in Shawnee, KS where I have been for almost 20 years. I am married to my husband, Scott. We have two children named Dylan and Vivian. Before working at the Primrose School of Shawnee I was a 2 year old teacher for two years. I love coming to work and seeing all the babies in my classroom. I’m Ms. Anderson. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Mexico in a small town. My dad is a doctor and I have been helping him ever since I was 12yrs old; I helped with many infants and young children. When we moved to the USA my dad opened a Mexican restaurant! I have two boys of my own; Yahel and Jared. We all work at the Primrose School of Shawnee and love it! I have been with the Primrose School of Shawnee since March of 2023! I’m Miss Gumm. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have been at the Primrose School of Shawnee since May of 2024. I had previously been working at a Primrose in Ohio. I love art of all kinds! I have many plants at my house. I enjoy taking care of my plants and watching them grow! My favorite season is Summer; I love being in the sun. I’m Miss Borisouth! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have two children, who both attend the Primrose School of Shawnee. I’m currently engaged to my high school sweetheart! I’m Ms. Roundtree and I wanted to tell you a little about myself! I love learning just as much as I love teaching. I have studied and know words and phrases in Dari and Spanish! I love learning new languages. I also enjoy working with books, I bind fanfiction and rebind published work with custom covers! I absolutely love helping others, kids, and adults alike! I’m Ms. Magdaleno and I wanted to tell you a little about myself! I am a mother of one, she is my pride and joy – she attends the Primrose School of Shawnee in the Preschool classroom! I love working at the Primrose School of Shawnee because it gives me the opportunity to be a mom at home and at school! I’m Ms. Morgan! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have a son, Mason who will be going into first grade and a daughter named Nova who attends the Primrose School of Shawnee in the Preschool Pathways classroom! In my spare time, i like to spend time outside doing activities with my kids or inside reading a book. I also love to grill out with family and friends. I am very passionate about working with children, it makes me so happy seeing the children hit new milestones. I love working with children of all ages. I’m Miss Sanchez and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I worked with children prior to the Primrose School of Shawnee mentoring kids in middle school. I know basic sign language signs, and cannot wait to help teach them to our class. I also look forward to doing Harmony and Hearts as I sang in the choir for 8 years. I’m Mrs. Camarillo. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family. I have two children, Matias and Emily. They are in the explorer’s program at the Primrose School of Shawnee with me! I have been with Primrose since January of 2023. I love coming into work and being there for all of my students. I’m Miss Mera. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have been working with children since I started here at the Primrose School of Shawnee back in May of 2024. I have no prior experience in childcare, but am loving it! I am currently attending UMKC and am majoring in criminal justice. I have one dog named Rocky who we rescued when he was 1 year old. My favorite holiday to celebrate is Christmas! In my personal time, I like to spend time with my family! My family and I always watch every Chiefs game together! I am a first generation student, I’m Mexican-American and my parents immigrated here from Mexico! A fun fact about me is that I have been dancing in a Mexican Folklore group since I was 9 years old! I’m Miss Cypert. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I am a big fan of traveling and I enjoy being active outdoors. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have 4 years of experience in childcare and love watching children hit their milestones! I am currently finishing my bachelors degree in kinesiology. Hi I’m Mrs. Steele. I wanted to tell you a little about myself! I have over 9 years of teaching experience! My family and I love to go camping and have an annual camping trip that we go on. I have one granddaughter named Remington and one grandson named Ryken! I love coming to work and seeing the children smile every day and learn new things throughout the school year! I’m Mrs. Archuletta. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have two children, my four year old daughter named Delaney and a three year old son name Eugene! I’ve worked with Primrose for three years now! Someday in the near future I hope to start training to run a marathon, with the goal to run one in the next three years! My favorite thing about working with children is watching them grow mentally and physically! My favorite children’s book is “Put Me in The Zoo” and the favorite holiday is Christmas! One of my favorite family traditions is every year my husbands family does a giant white elephant Christmas celebration! Hi, my name is Mrs. Werner! This is my first opportunity working in a child-care setting and I am so excited! I am originally from Tennessee. I also have a twin sister! I am engaged and will be getting married in Spring of 2025. I look forward to learning from my co-teachers and getting to know each one of my students and their families. Hi I’m Mrs. Eidson! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have worked for 3 years teaching 1 year olds and I have worked 3 years with infants! I have my associates degree in general studies and my favorite thing about working with children is watching them grow and reach milestones! My favorite children’s book is “Brown Bear Brown Bear”. My favorite holiday is Christmas, I love gift giving! My favorite family tradition is that we have family game nights 2x a month with the kids picking what we eat! At home I speak English and I have an Australian Shepard named Sissy. In my personal time, I like to watch movies with my family, diamond painting, arts & crafts, and cozy PC games! Three fun facts about my include I had a small in-home bakery with my sister. We closed shop when Covid hit. I don’t like cooking but love baking! I’m Miss Glover. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I went to JCCC and Mid-America Nazarene for college; I have a Bachelors degree in early childhood education. While at JCCC I played volleyball for a year and I was a baseball manager for 4 years. I love to cook, I attended cooking school for 2 years. My favorite college team is K-State! I love coming into work and seeing all of the children in my class grow and learn new things. I have been with the Primrose School of Shawnee since July 2023. I’m Miss Reed and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I am a senior at Shawnee Mission Northwest. I have previously worked in childcare, and am so excited to be back! I enjoy spending time singing in my Church Youth band when I am not at school or work! My favorite thing about working with children is making kids laugh and smile. I’m Mrs. Jaume. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have been working in child care for over 14 years now. I used to work at an in-home daycare in 2010 until I became a stay at home mom a couple years later. My family and I are Irish, we enjoy having Irish foods and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day together every year! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies and Child Development. I am currently enrolled at Fort Hayes State University where I am pursuing a degree in sociology. I have been with the Primrose School of Shawnee since October of 2022. Hi I’m Miss McGillicuddy. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. Before Primrose I have child care experience nannying and babysitting. I am currently a high school student and my favorite thing about working with children is watching them learn new things! My favorite children’s book is “Goodnight Moon” and my favorite holiday to celebrate is Halloween! One of my favorite family traditions is driving around to watch and look at Christmas lights. At home I speak English with my family and we have two dogs named Fred and Roxy. In my personal time, I like to play volleyball, shop, and spend time with friends and family! Some fun facts about me are that my favorite color is orange, my favorite food is strawberries, and my birthday is on Groundhogs day! I play volleyball, soccer, and basketball. I’m Miss Hood! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have 5 siblings-three sisters and two brothers. I studied and know some french! I used to spend free time horse back riding! Hi I’m Mr. Allen! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I drive the bus here at the Primrose School of Shawnee! This is my second year driving the morning and afternoon bus route. I have 7 years childcare experience coaching youth football. I have my BS in Accounting and my favorite holiday to celebrate is Thanksgiving! At home I have two French bulldogs named Pepper and Birdie. In my personal time, I like to go to the gym, watch football, and watch hockey! Some fun facts about myself are that I have 2 sons ages 17 and 19. My 19-year-old is in the United States Marine Corps. My 17-year-old is a senior in high school. After graduating college, I coached high school football for 2 years. I am a retired police caption, and I spent 27 years in law enforcement! Hi I’m Miss Hall! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. Before working at Primrose School of Shawnee I was a babysitter for some families in my neighborhood! I am currently a Senior in High School at Mill Valley. My favorite thing about working with children is getting to hear all of the interesting stories they tell me every day! My favorite children’s book is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!” My favorite holiday is Christmas and a favorite family tradition that I do is having lake days in the Summer! At home I speak English and I currently have a Shih Tzu named Wrigley. In my personal time, I like to hangout with my boyfriend and watch new tv series! Three fun facts about me include that i may seem extroverted, but I am actually introverted! My favorite color is royal blue and emerald green. I have a strong passion towards mental health!
