Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hi I’m Mrs. S. I wanted to tell you a little about myself! I have over 9 years of teaching experience! My family and I love to go camping and have an annual camping trip that we go on. I have one granddaughter named Remington and one grandson named Ryken! I love coming to work and seeing the children smile every day and learn new things throughout the school year! At Primrose, we’re more than a team of child care specialists. We’re also a family, and we care for every child as though they are our own. Like your home, our school provides a secure, nurturing environment that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

Small Group Literacy!

During Small Group Literacy we reviewed alphabet letters, sounds, and letter formation! As we reviewed the letters students were encouraged to raise their hand when they saw a letter from their name. Peanut the Pony even helped guide the students to use their "magic finger" to write their name in the air! The students were invited to write about friendship with Peanut the pony! 🐴✏️💛 #PrimroseProud #SmallGroupLiteracy

Project Time!

Project Time! The students researched and read about different plants that grow outside! The students chose a plant that they thought was extraordinary and wrote about it and drew a picture to represent it! 🌳🍄🌸🌾 #PrimroseProud #ProjectTime

Small Group Math!

Small Group Math! The Pre-Kindergarten students created patterns such as ABAB patters and AABAAB patterns! They used the mittens made out of felt to create their own unique pattern. The students worked together and labeled the patterns by the number of mittens they used!
