I bring more than 30 years of experience in public education, along with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Oklahoma State University 🎓 and a master’s degree in educational administration with a principal certification.

Most recently, I worked as a Curriculum Coordinator for McKinney ISD, supporting PreK through 5th grade social studies and reading and language arts 📚 and providing professional learning and coaching for elementary instructional coaches.

I love working in preschool, because it is where a child’s love of learning begins ✨. After graduating from Allen High School, I attended Texas Southern University in Houston, where I studied for four years and discovered my love for travel ✈️. I’ve been fortunate to visit 16 countries, all 50 U.S. states, and every continent except Antarctica! One of my favorite trips was to Iceland, where I was lucky enough to see the Northern Lights for four magical days 🌌.

In 2019, I started my own travel company called Wander With Faith and have since planned over 100 trips. Along the way, I’ve volunteered as an English teacher in Guatemala and Jakarta, and have enjoyed teaching Sunday school since high school 📚. While I loved my traveling years, I’m now excited to explore new interests and can’t wait to meet your little ones!

One of my favorite holidays is Halloween because it combines many of my passions—like costume-making, photography, and attending conventions where I dive into the media industry 🎃📸.

I speak Japanese and enjoy anime, which connects me to a culture I really admire. Some of my favorite hobbies include baking, drawing, and editing creative projects on my devices 🎨🍰. With 1–2 years of childcare experience, I love helping children explore their creativity and watch those “aha” moments happen when they learn something new.

One of my favorite children’s books to share is Chrysanthemum 🌼—a beautiful story about self-acceptance and kindness.

In my personal time, you’ll often find me cosplaying or crafting costumes, bringing characters and stories to life 🎭.

I come from a big family, including two younger siblings, an older sister, and a nephew. As an autistic individual, I experience the world a little differently and enjoy sharing that unique perspective with others. I have a strong passion for school and learning, which I bring into the classroom every day.
