Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Julia Saracini
Hi Primrose family! 🏫✨ I’m Ms. Julia, and I’m thrilled to share my love of learning with our amazing kiddos here at Primrose School of Plano at Deerfield. After graduating from Plano West High School and studying at Oklahoma State University 🎓, I dove head‑first into early childhood—guiding young minds since 2015 (starting as a high‑school nanny!) 👶💕
Nothing lights me up like watching children grow, discover new passions, and turn every day into a fresh adventure 🌱💡. I’m also the proud aunt to two nieces and one nephew, which means I get plenty of extra story‑time practice at home!
When class is out, you’ll find me curled up with my Kindle 📚, chatting about the latest pick in the book club I started with friends 📖☕, or soaking up time with family and my favorite people. My go‑to read‑aloud is The Giving Tree 🌳—a timeless reminder of kindness and love.

Deolinda Larsen
Hi Primrose family! 🏫✨ I’m Ms. Deolinda, and I’m thrilled to be part of this wonderful community! I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and spent my early school years in Amarillo, Texas. Every summer, my siblings and I return to our family ranch in New Mexico, where we raise cattle—a tradition that’s very close to my heart 🐄🌾.
Although I initially studied civil engineering in college 🎓, I discovered that my true passion is teaching and shaping the minds of tomorrow. I bring over 24 years of preschool education experience, along with time spent as a substitute teacher in the public school system.
What I love most about working with children is watching them grow and develop into young adults—and sometimes beyond! It’s a privilege to be part of their journey. One of my favorite stories to share is Miss Twiggley’s Tree 🌳, which always sparks imagination and joy.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending quality moments with family and friends, cherishing those connections that keep life rich and meaningful ❤️.

Ms. Mia Rodriguez
Hello, Primrose family!🏫✨ I’m Ms. Mia, and I’m thrilled to bring my passion for learning and creativity to Primrose School of Plano at Deerfield. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, I moved to Texas in 2019 and bring three years of child-care experience working with children of all ages 👶👧. At home, you’ll meet my two spirited daughters—Valentina and Esmerelda—who keep life playful and bright!
My favorite part of teaching is watching children blossom day by day as they discover their unique personalities and explore the world around them 🌱💡.
When I’m off duty, you’ll probably find me rocking out at a concert, exploring a comic or bookshop, catching a movie, or teaming up with friends for video-game fun 🎸📚🎮. My go-to classroom read is Corduroy 🧸—a heartwarming reminder that every adventure begins with curiosity.

I’m Ms. Sherryl, and I’m excited to share a little about myself! I have 10 years of experience working with children and some college education. I truly enjoy being part of children’s learning and growth and love watching their curiosity and confidence blossom each day. 🌱💕
I was raised on Florida’s Space Coast, where I spent my early years swimming, scuba diving, and boating. 🌊 My parents worked at Cape Canaveral, so I grew up watching rocket launches and developed a lifelong appreciation for aerospace and space exploration! 🚀 I’m also a proud granny to two wonderful little girls, and we love spending time together reading, swimming, doing puzzles, and making special memories. 💕👧👧
My favorite part of working with children is seeing their excitement when they have that special “aha!” moment when something suddenly clicks! 🌟 Those little moments of discovery make working with children so rewarding. My favorite children’s book is Amelia Bedelia 📚, and in my personal time, I love spending time and playing with my grandchildren.
