Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mrs. Thip has experience in local daycares since 2016 likely brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to your team. It’s great that she found her niche in the Toddler classroom and is excelling there. Her dedication to teaching and facilitating activities to help children learn and succeed in life is undoubtedly invaluable to both the children and their parents.

Mrs. Thelu has been dedicated to early childhood education since 2016, bringing nearly a decade of experience caring for and teaching children from 3 months to 5 years old. Throughout her career, she has served as a nanny, assistant teacher, and lead teacher, fostering strong relationships with children and families while creating nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is passionate about inspiring a lifelong love of learning. Mrs. Thelu’s favorite part of teaching is watching children grow in confidence as they reach new milestones and seeing the joy on their faces during story time, music, and hands-on learning experiences. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive classroom where every child feels valued, encouraged, and empowered to thrive.

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Thelu enjoys singing, organizing cultural events, and giving back through her active involvement in her community. Her creativity, compassion, and dedication to helping young learners reach their full potential make her an invaluable member of the Primrose team. She is honored to partner with families in providing children with a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Ms. Garcia has been an integral part of the Primrose School at Moorefield Station since September 2012, marking her tenure of nearly a decade at our school! Her journey from law school in Bolivia to becoming a valued teacher in the school’s Infant, Early Preschool, Preschool Pathways, and Toddler programs is truly inspiring. Her diverse experience with children, including infants, toddlers, and twos, demonstrates her versatility and commitment to early childhood education.

Ms. Garcia’s ability to maintain a well-organized classroom and anticipate the needs of her young charges is impressive. Implementing the Primrose curriculum through play and interactive activities is a valuable approach to early education, as it helps children grow and reach important milestones in a fun and engaging way. Her open communication with parents and her involvement in various activities, such as storytelling, art, and dance, enriches the children’s learning experiences.

It’s also lovely to hear about Ms. Garcia’s personal interests in attending concerts and camping on weekends, which likely contribute to her well-rounded and vibrant personality. Her dedication to providing care and attention to the students every day is truly commendable. Mrs. Banoth has been working with children since 2016, providing nurturing care in both private homes and professional early childhood education settings. In addition to her teaching experience, she brings invaluable firsthand knowledge as a parent, having raised her own children. Her combination of professional expertise and personal experience allows her to create a warm, supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to learn.

Mrs. Banoth holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science, is CPR certified, and has completed early childhood education training. She is passionate about helping children explore the world through play, creativity, and kindness. She believes that every day provides new opportunities for children to build confidence, develop essential life skills, and discover a lifelong love of learning.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Banoth enjoys spending quality time with her family, taking walks with her daughter, cooking, singing, and traveling. She values creating meaningful memories with her loved ones and brings that same warmth and joy into her classroom each day.

We are thrilled to have Mrs. Banoth as part of our Primrose team. Her compassionate heart, positive spirit, and dedication to nurturing young minds make her an exceptional educator.
