  • Mrs. Pariroo, School Director

    Mrs. Pariroo

    School Director

    Mrs. Pariroo is the Director of the Primrose School at Moorefield Station. She has a background in psychology and graduated from Christopher Newport University. Prior to joining Primrose in July of 2012, she gained valuable experience as a Teacher and Director in the Northern Virginia area.

    In her role at Primrose at Moorefield Station, Mrs. Pariroo finds her work to be exciting, challenging, and rewarding. She is known for effectively addressing the needs of families and for hiring excellent teachers for the school. Additionally, she takes joy in witnessing the growth and development of her own sons within the Primrose Family.

    Mrs. Pariroo is a strong advocate for the Primrose philosophy and the Balanced Curriculum offered in the classrooms. She enjoys sharing these principles with new families who visit the school. Her positive energy and attitude are appreciated by both the children and staff at the school.

    Living in a thriving community, Mrs. Pariroo values the alignment of Primrose's values with the community's and appreciates the opportunities the school provides for making a positive impact. She eagerly anticipates seeing the staff and receiving hugs and smiles from the students each day, highlighting her dedication to the school and its community.

  • Mrs. Sasinowski, Education Specialist

    Mrs. Sasinowski

    Education Specialist

    Mrs. Sasinowski has a diverse educational background with a Bachelor's degree in History and Theater Education, a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy, and a Master's degree in History from Liberty University. Her journey at Primrose School began in 2014 when she started as an Office Manager. Over the years, she has taken on various roles, including Summer Camp Director, Explorer Teacher, Kindergarten Assistant, and even worked briefly as a Chef.

    During a break from Primrose, Mrs. Sasinowski worked for Liberty University's Online Academy as a Registrar Counselor. In this role, she helped high school students by creating education plans and providing guidance as they prepared for college, all while completing her Master's degree.

    She returned to Primrose School in September 2021 and has since been actively involved in the classroom, coaching teachers and assisting with the implementation of the Balanced Learning curriculum. This role appears to be particularly rewarding for her, as she enjoys working closely with teachers to help them grow professionally. Additionally, Mrs. Sasinowski is passionate about partnering with parents on behavior management and early intervention, emphasizing the importance of a collaborative approach to education.

    Outside of her work at Primrose School, Mrs. Sasinowski enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and their black lab, Luna. Her favorite places in the DMV area include Mount Vernon and the American History Museum. They also have a shared love for movies and enjoy spending time at their family lake house in the Adirondacks.

  • Mrs. Jacobs, Office Manager

    Mrs. Jacobs

    Office Manager

    Mrs. Jacobs, formerly Ms. Hook, has been working in a licensed childcare facility in the Northern Virginia area since 2012. Before joining the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in November 2018, she was a substitute teacher with the Prince William County Public School system working in the elementary schoools. She worked as a camp counselor every summer at the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center from 2012-2018.

    After graduating from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Mrs. Jacobs began working in a fitness center's daycare and after a year became a Supervisor within the department.

    Mrs. Jacobs loves that she found Primrose because it allows her to work in administration but stay within the childcare field because she loves to see the students grow and learn! The babies in the Infant room when she started in 2018 are now in Pre-K and about to go to Kindergarten! Her favorite thing about Primrose is the front office staff because; "we work really well together! It’s an added bonus to work with our amazing teachers and students." When she’s not at Primrose, she enjoys attending country concerts, having monthly game nights with her sisters, hiking & camping with her husband, and relaxing with her two cats!

    Office Manager

    Krysta Muniz has been in the childcare industry for over 11 years, in various different positions along the way. Krysta began at Primrose in October 2021 when she joined as a Pre-K 2 teacher. What she loved most about being in the classroom was witnessing the children's incredible journey of learning and growth throughout the year.

     

    In March 2022, Krysta took on a new role as Office Manager, with a special focus on Enrollment. Here, she found genuine joy in connecting with new families, learning about their unique stories, and helping them become part of the Primrose School at Moorefield Station community.

     

    Outside of school, Krysta, along with her husband and her dog, Tucker, have been exploring the beauty of Virginia and the excitement of DC for the past two years. They also love visits to their New Jersey hometowns, and spending quality time with friends and family. Virginia & PSMS’s warm and welcoming atmosphere has made it easy for Krysta to call this place home.

  • Ms. Fewell, Office Assistant

    Ms. Fewell

    Office Assistant

    Ms. Fewell has a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for working with children. Her experience in a licensed childcare facility since 2017 and her completion of courses in Early Childhood Education at Rock Ridge High School indicate her commitment to this field. Additionally, her pursuit of a nursing career suggests a dedication to both healthcare and child development.

    Ms. Fewell's love for spending time outdoors and enjoying nature aligns with the character of Benjamin the Bear, who is known for his affinity for the outdoors. This connection can be beneficial in fostering a love for nature and outdoor activities among the children she works with.

    Her transition from Infant Support Staff Teacher to Older Infant Lead Teacher demonstrates her growth and experience within the childcare field. Moreover, her role in leading the Elementary Engagement Program for Distance Learners from LCPS during the 2020-2021 school year highlights her adaptability and dedication to providing quality education, even in challenging circumstances.

    Overall, Ms. Fewell appears to be a dedicated and passionate educator who brings her love for nature and the outdoors into her work with children, helping them grow and learn in a nurturing environment.

    With over two decades of experience in food preparation since 2000, Chef Mahboubeh seamlessly blended her culinary expertise with her passion for education. In 2011, she ventured into the child care industry as a lead teacher and teacher assistant, occasionally lending her culinary skills to the kitchen.

    In September 2019, Chef Mahboubeh joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station. The children adore her, affectionately calling her "Chef Boubeh." They eagerly await "Cookie Friday," a cherished tradition she introduced. Beyond her work, she's a devoted mother and sports enthusiast.

    Chef Mahboubeh's warm presence, culinary talents, and dedication have made her an invaluable part of the Primrose community.

  • Ms. Tate, Kitchen Assistant & Support Teacher

    Kitchen Assistant & Support Teacher

    Ms. Tate has an impressive background in childcare, with experience spanning various age groups, including school-age children. She began her journey in a licensed childcare facility back in 2012 and has since accumulated valuable experience. Her career at the Primrose School at Moorefield Station started in January 2019, where she initially served as an Infant Lead Teacher. After two years in this role, she took on the challenge of working with toddlers. Ms. Tate returned to the Infant classroom for a year, contributing to the growth and development of the youngest students. Currently, she serves as one of the part-time Support Teachers, offering her assistance in various classrooms within the facility.

    One interesting detail about Ms. Tate is her affinity for the Pete the Cat series of children's books. Her love for reading extends to her little students, which makes her closely relate to the Primrose character, Og, who shares her passion for reading and sharing books with children.

    Outside of her work, Ms. Tate enjoys spending quality time with her son, taking him on exciting adventures and exploring new places together. Her dedication to nurturing children's growth and her commitment to providing support across different classrooms make her an invaluable asset to the Primrose School at Moorefield Station.

    Younger Infant Lead Teacher

    Mrs. Pierson is an invaluable member of the Primrose at Moorefield Station team. She began her journey with the school in 2013 as a lead teacher in the Older Infant Classroom and currently serves as a lead teacher in the youngest Infant One Classroom. Her educational background includes a B.S. Degree in Travel/Tourism and Spanish from Western Michigan University.

    Mrs. Pierson brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role, much of which she gained through her own personal experiences. Raising four children has provided her with a deep understanding of child development and caregiving. Additionally, her involvement in volunteering at schools, church, and with Boy/Girl Scouts has further enriched her skills and abilities when it comes to working with children.

    One of Mrs. Pierson's standout qualities is her exceptional aptitude for caring for infants. Her genuine love for babies, along with her meticulous attention to detail and adept scheduling, ensures that the Infant One Classroom operates smoothly every day. Her personality is ideally suited to create a calm, secure, and joyful environment for our youngest students. Both fellow teachers and parents alike appreciate Mrs. Pierson's warm and caring demeanor. Infants in her care also benefit from her engaging activities, including singing, blowing bubbles, and assisting them with art projects.

    Mrs. Dehqanzada, a cherished member of our Primrose family since September 2022, has seamlessly transitioned from her role as a support staff member to a co-lead in our Young Infant classroom. With her innate ability to connect with and nurture our youngest learners, Mrs. Dehqanzada's journey in early childhood education has been nothing short of inspiring. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science and Occupational Health & Safety, a testament to her commitment to safety and well-being.

    What truly sets Mrs. Dehqanzada apart is her unwavering dedication to the growth and development of the infants under her care. She firmly believes in the profound impact that early education can have on a child's future, and she is passionate about providing them with the love and attention they need to thrive. Her nurturing approach, combined with her European teaching experience, brings a unique perspective to our Primrose community.

    Mrs. Barve is a cherished member of our Primrose family, bringing warmth and dedication to our community since August 2020. Her journey in nurturing young minds began in 2016, where she embarked on a rewarding career working with children in various daycares. What sets Mrs. Barve apart is her academic prowess, holding a Master's in Philosophy, which enriches her ability to foster critical thinking and creativity in her young charges.

    One of Mrs. Barve's most endearing qualities is her genuine love for children. Her face lights up when she witnesses the smiles on their faces and experiences the world through their curious eyes. It's this joy that fuels her passion for teaching and caring for our little ones. Outside of her nurturing role at Primrose, she finds solace in the kitchen, whipping up delectable dishes, indulges in some quality TV time, and cherishes moments spent playing with her own son. Since 2021, she has taken the helm as the lead teacher in our Older Infant classroom, where her nurturing presence and dedication have won the hearts of both children and parents alike. Mrs. Barve takes pride in implementing our curriculum and watching the babies learn and grow every day, making her an indispensable part of our Primrose family.

Her educational background, which includes a Bachelor's degree in English and an Associate's degree in Psychology, provides her with a well-rounded perspective on the cognitive and emotional needs of young children.

    One of Ms. Gyman's standout qualities is her dedication to our Balanced Learning curriculum. She takes immense joy in watching her students grow and learn, fostering an environment where they can explore, discover, and develop essential skills. Beyond the structured curriculum, Ms. Gyman also incorporates creative elements into her teaching, regularly engaging her students in reading sessions and arts and crafts activities. Her commitment to holistic child development aligns perfectly with our school's philosophy. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Gyman's love for Disney World showcases her enthusiasm for creating magical moments, which undoubtedly extends to her work with our young toddlers. Her journey began in 2003 when she started as a babysitter, demonstrating her early affinity for working with children. For a decade, before joining Primrose in July 2019, she honed her skills in a daycare facility, gaining valuable experience in the field. Currently, Ms. Pyle is dedicated to her educational pursuits, working toward a degree in Elementary Education, a testament to her commitment to advancing her qualifications in the realm of education.

    Within the Primrose School, Ms. Pyle has shown remarkable growth and adaptability. She initially joined as the Preschool Pathways lead, where she likely played a pivotal role in the early education of young children. Her dedication and enthusiasm for the Primrose Balanced Learning Curriculum became evident, propelling her to take on a new challenge within the organization. Later, she transitioned to become the Preschool lead, working closely with Ms. Melton, showcasing her versatility and dedication to her role.

    Mrs. Tyagi, one of our wonderful Pathways Teachers, rejoined us in the fall of 2023. With her years of experience in childcare and volunteering in children's programs, she must bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to her role. It's also wonderful to know that she spends her weekends with her family, enjoying and exploring restaurants.

    It's clear that Mrs. Tyagi has a passion for children's literature, as her favorite children's books include "Pete the Cat," "Lots of Spot," and "City Colors." These books are sure to be a hit with the children in her class.

Her professional journey includes four years as a Lead Teacher at the Northern Virginia Academy in Ashburn, where she likely gained valuable teaching experience and expertise.

    In addition to her work at the Northern Virginia Academy, Mrs. Go also has three years of experience in a home daycare setting. This experience in a more intimate childcare environment may have given her a unique perspective on early childhood development and care.

    At Primrose, Mrs. Go is involved in various classrooms, including Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten. This versatility suggests that she has the flexibility and knowledge to work with children of different age groups, adapting her teaching methods as needed.

    Ms. Bushrod is a dedicated support staff member in the field of early childhood education. Although relatively new to this profession, she brings a wealth of experience from her previous babysitting roles. Graduating from high school and currently pursuing her college education, Ms. Bushrod is committed to furthering her knowledge and skills in the world of child development. Her passion for working with children shines through in her favorite aspect of the job: understanding each child's unique personality and thought processes, which allows her to tailor her support to their individual needs.

    In her free time, Ms. Bushrod is an avid reader with a particular fondness for the heartwarming novel "Because of Winn-Dixie." Her love for literature reflects her empathetic and nurturing personality. Beyond her academic and literary pursuits, she enjoys exploring new places, with New York being her favorite destination. She's also a devoted fan of the Memphis Grizzlies, showing her love for sports and community engagement. A hidden talent of hers is her ability to create beautiful drawings, a skill that adds a touch of creativity to her already positive and ever-smiling demeanor, making her a cherished member of any early childhood education team.

    Mrs. Perez is a dedicated and experienced educator at the Primrose School at Moorefield Station. She has been a part of the school since October 2015 and has taken on various roles, currently serving as a Lead Teacher in the Preschool Pathways room, where she specializes in teaching singing and caring for the youngest students.

    Throughout her time at the school, Mrs. Perez has demonstrated her versatility by previously working as a lead teacher in the Toddler Classroom and the Early Preschool Classroom before transitioning to her current role in the Preschool Pathways Program.

    Mrs. Perez's extensive experience in preschool childcare spans over eight years, making her a valuable asset to the school community. Additionally, she holds a degree in Occupational Studies from Briarcliff College, showcasing her commitment to professional development in her field.

    Originally from Glen Clove, NY, Mrs. Perez brings her love for the Yankees with her to the school. Outside of teaching, she enjoys exploring museums and historic sites with her family, demonstrating her passion for lifelong learning and education.

    One of Mrs. Perez's primary goals is to support her students in their transitions and help them adjust socially and academically. Her dedication to the well-being and development of her students is evident in her role as a Lead Teacher, and she looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the lives of the young learners at the Primrose School at Moorefield Station.

  • Ms. Nomel

    Preschool 1 Lead Teacher

    We're thrilled to introduce Ms. Nomel, our newest addition to the Preschool team here at Primrose! Although she officially joined us in January 2024, Ms. Nomel brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience, including her time at another Primrose location.

    Ms. Nomel's journey in early education began during her high school years, where she discovered her passion for working with children. This passion led her to pursue a deeper understanding of child development and psychology in college, where she majored in psychology with a minor in child psychology.
