Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Brown
Ms. Brown is a highly esteemed member of the Primrose School at Moorefield Station, where she has been making a significant impact since her arrival in August 2016. As the Kindergarten Lead Teacher, Ms. Brown brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Originally hailing from Indiana, she holds an Elementary Education Degree from Purdue University and is a proud holder of a Virginia State Collegiate Professional Teaching License, illustrating her dedication to her profession.
With over a decade of professional teaching experience, Ms. Brown’s expertise extends across multiple elementary grade levels. Her standout achievement lies in her five-year tenure as a Full Day Kindergarten Teacher with Loudoun County Public Schools. Notably, she has been an active contributor to Loudoun County Public Schools, serving on various leadership teams, including the Science Team and Math Team, and even taking on the role of Grade Level Team Leader.
Ms. Brown is known not only for her impressive credentials but also for her outstanding interpersonal skills. Her excellent communication abilities, warm smile, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching create a nurturing and inviting classroom environment. Particularly passionate about teaching science, Ms. Brown employs interactive teaching methods that encourage lively student participation, making learning a memorable and engaging experience for her young learners. Her dedication to education and her commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere make her an invaluable asset to the Primrose School at Moorefield Station.

Mrs. Nabi
Mrs. Nabi’s educational journey has been nothing short of remarkable since joining the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in February 2016. She initially started as an Early Preschool support staff member but quickly proved her versatility and dedication by taking on various roles within the institution. Her career trajectory within the school speaks to her leadership qualities and her unwavering commitment to the students’ well-being.
Mrs. Nabi’s unique background, having moved from Afghanistan in 2010, adds a culturally diverse perspective to her teaching approach. This, combined with her extensive experience as both a mother and a professional working with children since 2011, showcases her deep passion for early childhood education. Her interactions with students are characterized by a warm and engaging personality, and her love for music and reading enriches their educational experiences.
In her current role as the Kindergarten Support Teacher, Mrs. Nabi continues to make a significant impact on the lives of the students and the overall school community. Her story serves as a testament to the power of dedication, adaptability, and a genuine love for teaching in shaping the educational experiences of young minds.
