Keairra Banks
My name is Keairra Banks, and I am honored to serve as the Director at Primrose School of Haymarket. I bring over 15 years of experience in the early childhood education field, and supporting young children while partnering with families during these critical early years has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.
I am also a proud wife and mother. I have been married for seven years and have three amazing “mini adults” who are currently pursuing their college education. Being both an educator and a parent has given me a well-rounded perspective on the importance of creating nurturing, enriching environments where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
At Primrose, our teachers play a vital role as educators, caregivers, and role models. They are intentional in creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. Our teachers are dedicated to guiding children with patience, consistency, and care while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. I deeply value our teaching team and the important work they do each day to support our students and families.
I also strongly believe that parent engagement and open communication are essential to building a strong and connected school community. Family involvement and feedback are invaluable, and I truly value parents as partners in their child’s learning journey. When families and educators work together, children thrive.
I am truly honored to be part of the Primrose community and look forward to building meaningful relationships with our families, staff, and students. I am excited to work together to support each child’s development and help them thrive during these foundational years.

RJ Smith
My name is Mr. RJ Smith, and I am proud to serve as the Assistant Director at Primrose. I bring over 10 years of experience in the childcare setting and have also spent several years working as a special education teacher and coordinator at Keys Academy.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for supporting both children and educators through effective classroom management, purposeful staff development, and thoughtful curriculum implementation. I believe that strong leadership and collaboration help create positive, consistent learning environments for students and teachers alike.
In my role as Assistant Director, I am committed to working closely with our team to support classroom success and promote high-quality learning experiences for every child. I am excited to continue contributing to the growth and success of our school community.

Ms. Turcios
My name is Ms. Turcios, and I truly enjoy encouraging children as they reach important milestones in their development. With 28 years of experience in childcare, I bring patience, warmth, and a deep understanding of how young children grow and learn. I have completed coursework in Child Development, Creative Activities for Young Children, and Health, Safety, and Nutrition, which supports my ability to create meaningful and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
I take great pride in building strong, trusting relationships with my students and providing a nurturing environment where each child feels safe, supported, and confident. I love celebrating every achievement—big and small—and guiding children with care, encouragement, and consistency as they develop new skills.
My favorite Primrose character is Erwin the Dog because I value teaching children about friendship, kindness, and cooperation. These are qualities I strive to model every day while helping children form positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging in the classroom.
Ms. Kammerdeiner
My name is Ms. Kammerdeiner, and I enjoy spending my days off with family and friends. I am looking forward to creating meaningful memories with the children and families here at Primrose Haymarket. I previously worked as a Primrose teacher in Ohio before transferring here, and I have experience as an infant teacher, though I truly enjoy working with children of all ages. I love building relationships with my students and find so much joy in getting to know them and watching them grow.
My favorite Primrose character is Molly because she values getting along with others and working together to create a positive and loving environment—qualities I strive to bring into my classroom every day.

Ms. Khalili
My name is Ms. Khalili, and I love seeing my students light up with excitement as we play games and sing songs together. I have been working with children since 2014 and bring experience as a babysitter, a first- and second-grade teacher, and a preschool teacher. These roles have allowed me to support children at different stages of development and adapt my teaching to meet a variety of learning needs.
I enjoy creating an engaging and joyful classroom where children feel encouraged to participate, learn, and grow. Building positive relationships and helping children feel confident and valued is very important to me.
My favorite Primrose character is Mia the Mouse because I believe serving our community and being a good citizen are special qualities for everyone to learn and practice.

Ms. Nickel
My name is Ms. Nickel, and I love working with children and creating a nurturing space where they can learn and grow. My goal is to support each child’s development through hands-on learning, creativity, and positive encouragement.
I bring several years of experience in childcare, including babysitting, working in an in-home childcare setting, and completing an Early Childhood course in high school. I am currently pursuing my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Infants and Toddlers, as I continue to grow professionally and deepen my understanding of early childhood development.
My favorite Primrose character is OG the Bookworm because he encourages storytelling, imagination, and a love for books—values I enjoy sharing with children every day.

Ms. Batistas
My name is Ms. Batistas, and I love witnessing those special “lightbulb” moments when my students discover something new. As a mother of four, I am passionate about creating a classroom where children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.
I bring 20 years of experience as an infant and toddler teacher, and throughout my career I have dedicated myself to nurturing young children, supporting their development, and creating loving, engaging learning environments where they can truly thrive.
My favorite Primrose character is OG the Bookworm because we both love spending time reading. Like OG, I believe books spark imagination, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Ms. Carter
My name is Ms. Carter, and I love engaging children in learning through play while helping them build meaningful friendships with one another. I bring over five years of experience in childcare, including working as a lead teacher and a babysitter. These experiences have allowed me to create fun, supportive learning environments where children feel confident, connected, and excited to learn.
I am passionate about fostering social skills, cooperation, and kindness in the classroom, and I enjoy guiding children as they learn how to work together and support one another.
My favorite Primrose character is Erwin the Dog because I love teaching children about friendship and the importance of caring for others.

Ms. Hernandez
My name is Ms. Hernandez, and I truly enjoy encouraging children to be brave as I watch their unique personalities shine and grow. I hold an Associate’s degree in Teacher Education and have been working in childcare since 2018. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Teacher Education and love continuing to learn alongside the children I teach.
My favorite Primrose character is Benjamin the Bear because I believe generosity is such an important virtue. I enjoy helping children learn to be kind, caring, and thoughtful toward others each day in the classroom.

Ms. Tejada
My name is Ms. Tejada, and I love being able to share in the joy, curiosity, and excitement of children each day. Watching them learn, grow, and discover new things brings me so much happiness and fulfillment. I bring over four years of childcare experience, including working as a babysitter and as an assistant daycare teacher. Through these roles, I have developed a strong passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable being themselves and excited to learn.
I truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with my students and helping them develop confidence, kindness, and independence. My goal is to support each child’s individual growth while making learning fun and positive.
My favorite Primrose character is Molly the Cow because I believe it is always important to treat others with respect. This value is something I strive to model daily, helping children learn the importance of kindness, cooperation, and caring for one another.

Ms. Cherundolo
My name is Ms. Cherundolo, and I love seeing how excited children become as they learn and discover new things. I bring 12 years of experience working with children as a teacher, babysitter, and nanny. I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, which has strengthened my understanding of how children grow, learn, and develop.
I am passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel confident, curious, and encouraged to explore. Building strong relationships with children and their families is very important to me.
My favorite Primrose character is Ally the Bunny because she embodies responsibility—an important value I strive to model and teach each day in the classroom.

Ms. Frye
My name is Ms. Frye, and I am so excited to be part of the Primrose community as the Food Specialist and Chef. I am from Front Royal and truly enjoy caring for children and supporting them as they grow, learn, and explore the world around them.
I bring experience working with children through High School Head Start, babysitting, in-home daycare, and childcare centers. I love being part of a school environment where children feel supported and encouraged every day. One of the things I am most excited about this school year is watching my students grow, learn new things, and seeing the world through their perspective.
My favorite food is pizza, and I love cooking lasagna for my family. My favorite sweet treat is Hershey’s chocolate, and on the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family. One of my favorite children’s books is The Rainbow Fish because of its message about kindness and sharing.
The Primrose character I relate to most is Libby because I like to be prepared for the day and believe in listening to others and giving them the opportunity to share their thoughts. I look forward to being a caring and supportive part of each child’s day here at Primrose.

Ms. Brown
My name is Ms. Brown, and I love seeing my students show kindness to one another and to themselves each day. I bring 22 years of experience in childcare, including working as a nanny and serving as an elementary school volunteer, and I truly enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with the children in my care.
I am passionate about nurturing children’s social-emotional growth and creating a warm, welcoming classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. I take pride in supporting children through both their big emotions and their joyful moments, helping them build confidence, empathy, and a love of learning.

Ms. Rojas
My name is Ms. Rojas, and I am so excited to be your child’s preschool teacher this year! I am married and have three adult children. I speak both English and Spanish and enjoy practicing yoga, going for walks, gardening, and spending time with my family and friends. I am truly looking forward to a fun, engaging, and memorable year together.
I have worked as an English teacher across multiple levels, including elementary, middle, high school, and adult education. These experiences have allowed me to support learners of all ages, adapt my teaching to meet diverse needs, and foster a lifelong love of learning in every classroom setting.

Ms. Roach
My name is Ms. Roach, and I am so excited to be spending this year with your little ones! In my free time, I enjoy reading, and I recently earned my B.A. in Psychology. A fun fact about me is that I have a white golden retriever named Casper, and my favorite food is sushi. I can’t wait for a wonderful year together!
I am excited to continue my teaching journey and bring experience from tutoring, after-school programs, and several years of working with children. These opportunities have allowed me to support learners of all ages, adapt to diverse needs, and foster a love of learning. I look forward to creating a positive, supportive environment where every child feels confident, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Ms. Evans
My name is Ms. Evans, and I am a creative educator who believes in the power of meaningful play as both a teaching and guidance tool. By creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences, I strive to support each child’s growth, curiosity, and confidence in a nurturing and joyful environment.
My passion for teaching began through my time serving in children’s ministries, where I first discovered my love for guiding and encouraging young learners. I also had the opportunity to contribute to the Sunday program at Mete Middle School, which further strengthened my commitment to supporting children at every stage of their development. These experiences have shaped my dedication to building positive relationships and helping children feel valued, capable, and inspired.
I am excited to bring this dedication to Primrose, where I look forward to building meaningful connections with my students and their families while creating a supportive space where every child can truly blossom.

Georgia Wiley
Georgia Wiley is the proud owner of The Primrose School of Haymarket. She and her husband are parents to three children — twin sons, Kalen and Breslin, and their daughter, Alexa.
Georgia earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Old Dominion University and a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. Before pursuing her lifelong dream of owning her own business, she spent 16 years at United Parcel Service (UPS) in Operations and Engineering and 10 years at Hewlett-Packard as an Engineering Project Manager.
For years, the Wiley family faced challenges finding quality child care for their children. When Georgia began exploring the idea of opening a child care center, she knew exactly what she was looking for — and when she discovered Primrose Schools, she immediately recognized that it embodied the nurturing, high-quality early education experience she had always wanted for her own children.
Primrose offers a Balanced Learning Curriculum that blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance and academic excellence. Beyond academics, the program emphasizes social-emotional development, music, and physical growth, ensuring a well-rounded foundation for every child.
As the owner, Georgia is deeply involved in the daily operations and quality of the school’s programs. She is passionate about maintaining a safe, nurturing, and healthy environment for children, while also cultivating a supportive and inspiring workplace where educators can thrive in their passion for teaching young learners.
