Our Infant Classroom
We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®

- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind

- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Infant Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Turcios
My name is Ms. Turcios, and I truly enjoy encouraging children as they reach important milestones in their development. With 28 years of experience in childcare, I bring patience, warmth, and a deep understanding of how young children grow and learn. I have completed coursework in Child Development, Creative Activities for Young Children, and Health, Safety, and Nutrition, which supports my ability to create meaningful and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
I take great pride in building strong, trusting relationships with my students and providing a nurturing environment where each child feels safe, supported, and confident. I love celebrating every achievement—big and small—and guiding children with care, encouragement, and consistency as they develop new skills.
My favorite Primrose character is Erwin the Dog because I value teaching children about friendship, kindness, and cooperation. These are qualities I strive to model every day while helping children form positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging in the classroom.
Ms. Kammerdeiner
My name is Ms. Kammerdeiner, and I enjoy spending my days off with family and friends. I am looking forward to creating meaningful memories with the children and families here at Primrose Haymarket. I previously worked as a Primrose teacher in Ohio before transferring here, and I have experience as an infant teacher, though I truly enjoy working with children of all ages. I love building relationships with my students and find so much joy in getting to know them and watching them grow.
My favorite Primrose character is Molly because she values getting along with others and working together to create a positive and loving environment—qualities I strive to bring into my classroom every day.
