Franchise Owners
Tommy and Anna Thompson & Kimberly Graham
Tommy and Anna Thompson have been Primrose owners since 2013. When expecting their first child in 2012, Tommy and Anna looked around Austin for childcare and fell in love with the balanced approach to early childhood education that Primrose offered and decided to go all in, not just enrolling but becoming Primrose owners. All three of their children have now graduated from Primrose and are thriving in elementary and middle school.
From many years as Primrose parents and Primrose owners, they believe in the excellence that Primrose delivers on a daily basis, encompassing the whole child’s learning and character development. The Thompsons now have four schools in the Austin area, although the Four Points school is where you’ll find them most days. In 2022, they were Primrose’s Franchisees of the Year from this region, recognizing school excellence. They have served on the national advisory council, on the national education committee, on the national facilities committee, on the local Primrose school owner cooperative board, as a training school host for new franchise owners, and as advocacy chair for Austin during their years at Primrose.
When the Thompsons opened the Primrose School of Pflugerville, Kimberly Graham joined the team as the school director. After working closely together for six years, she joined them in ownership of that school in 2022 and in ownership at the Four Points school in 2025. She’s a certified teacher with twenty years of experience in early childhood education. She brings a deep knowledge of education and childhood development to the Primrose School of Four Points team.
Tommy is a Longhorn (Hook ‘em) and an avid sports fan – he will want to know all your favorite teams! Anna graduated from the University of Kansas and is an avid reader and volunteer with the Junior League of Austin, CASA of Travis County, and the Austin Ed Fund. As a family, they love to travel and play board games together. Kimberly is also a parent to three children (21, 15, 12), the youngest of which is a Primrose graduate. In her free time, you can find her painting and drawing or playing taxi to her busy 15 and 12 year old that still live at home. Kimberly, her husband Matt, and their family enjoy comedy shows, hiking and travel.
