What You’ll Do

As a Teacher, you will plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for a classroom of preschool-aged children. You’ll build meaningful relationships with children and families, document learning and progress, and collaborate with a supportive team of educators who genuinely love what they do.

  • Deliver daily curriculum using the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Observe and document individual children’s development and communicate progress to families
  • Build trusting partnerships with parents through consistent, professional communication
  • Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership on continuous improvement
  • Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA credential, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Meets Texas minimum qualifications for a lead teacher as required by DFPS licensing
  • Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early childhood setting preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine love of working with young children
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to professional conduct
