I’m a hometown girl, raised right here in Allen 🤠, and joined the Primrose East Allen team in May 2018. I began in our Infant classroom, soaking up every coo, milestone, and smile 👶💕, and soon stepped into the front office, where I now guide every age group and mentor our dedicated educators.

I’m also a proud mom and wife to my high school sweetheart 💍❤️. When my husband was stationed at Camp Pendleton, I cared for the children of other Marine families, an experience that deepened my passion for creating supportive, loving communities for kids and parents alike.

After five years of various Primrose School locations Ms. Brenna brings a wealth of knowledge to the Primrose East Allen Team! 💛

Originally from Moreno Valley, California 🌴, Ms. Brenna is currently continuing her education as she works toward her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education 🎓. She has experience working with children from newborns to 10 years old and is deeply passionate about supporting both teachers and students in their growth and success. 🌱

Ms. Brenna loves guiding children as they learn and grow and finds so much joy in being part of those important foundational moments ✨. She is committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel loved and excited to learn 🧸📚, while also empowering teachers to thrive in their classrooms.

Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, cheering on her kids at soccer games ⚽, decorating her home 🏡, and reading on her Kindle 📖. Her favorite children’s book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, reflects her love for curiosity and fun in learning 🐭🍪.

Meet Ms. Shayla McGinnis – Passionate About Inspiring Young Minds! 🌟👶

We are so excited to have Ms. Shayla McGinnis as part of our Primrose School of East Allen teaching team! 🎉 With over 8 years of early childhood education experience, she brings a deep passion for helping little ones grow, learn, and thrive.

Ms. Shayla became a teacher because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of the next generation. That’s when she fell in love with working with children! 💕 She believes that early childhood is where everything comes to life—a time to explore, discover, and develop a love for learning! 🌱✨

She has worked with various age groups, but her heart is especially drawn to the infant to two-year-old stage. She finds so much joy in watching their little personalities blossom and helping them reach important milestones. 💡🎉

I am excited to serve as the Education Support Specialist for Primrose School of East Allen. I bring more than 30 years of experience in public education, along with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Oklahoma State University 🎓 and a master’s degree in educational administration with a principal certification.

Most recently, I worked as a Curriculum Coordinator for McKinney ISD, supporting PreK through 5th grade social studies and reading and language arts 📚 and providing professional learning and coaching for elementary instructional coaches.

I love working in preschool, because it is where a child’s love of learning begins ✨. I am passionate about supporting teachers, strengthening classroom practices, and helping create warm, engaging environments where children can thrive 💛. I am excited to bring my experience to Primrose School of East Allen and partner with educators as they support children and families every day.

We are so excited to welcome Ms. My’Kael Mingo to our school family! Originally from Downey, California, Ms. My’Kael has spent much of her life caring for children through babysitting before deciding to turn her passion into a professional career in early childhood education. ❤️

Ms. My’Kael loves watching children learn, grow, and discover new things every day. She has experience working with children of all ages, especially younger infants, and is passionate about helping every child feel supported, encouraged, and confident. 🌟

Aubree Wehring has been working in childcare for over 4 years, with the past 3 years proudly spent at Primrose Schools 🍎📚. Her love for teaching started when she was a little girl. She loved helping her teachers 👩‍🏫 and would go home to “teach” her imaginary students 🎒✏️. Even then, she knew this was her calling.

The best part of her day is the sweet hugs she receives each morning and afternoon 🤗, which brighten her day and make her work truly meaningful 💛.

Aubree recently transferred from another Primrose location and is excited to join this school family 🏫. She looks forward to growing in her early childhood education journey 🌱 and making lasting memories with the students and families she serves 👶❤️.

Ms. Cierra is originally from Monroe, Louisiana, and brings three years of childcare experience to our Primrose family. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Business & Technology and is passionate about helping children grow, learn, and become more confident each day.

Ms. Laniyah is originally from Long Island, New York, and brings four years of childcare experience to our Primrose family. She is a high school graduate, a Certified Esthetician, and is currently enrolled in her Child Development Associate (CDA) coursework.

Ms. Marlie chose early childhood education because she loves watching children’s creativity, curiosity, and imagination come to life. She believes every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they feel encouraged to explore, discover, and build confidence through meaningful learning experiences.

She has experience working with children from 6 weeks to 5 years old and is excited to create lasting relationships with her students and their families. Meet Ms. Woodside! 🎶✨

Growing up in a family dedicated to early childhood education, I was surrounded by a world of learning, play, and care. My parents and grandparents ran childcare centers, summer camps, and after-school programs, so creating joyful learning experiences has always been a part of my life!

As a former Montessori infant teacher, I bring a nurturing, hands-on approach to the classroom—infused with my greatest passion: music! Classically trained for over 10 years, I play the baritone saxophone, read music fluently, and love writing and producing my own music using Logic Pro. I can’t wait to sing, move, and make music with your children, incorporating rhythm, melody, and creativity into their daily learning!

I am continuously growing in my early childhood education journey and am so excited to be part of your child’s learning adventure. I look forward to making each day filled with music, laughter, and discovery! 🎵💛

Ms. Meagan Mays is from Garland and brings over 6 years of childcare experience to Primrose School of East Allen!  Her background includes church youth ministry 🙌, middle school externships, and early childhood education experience 👶🌟. She also holds her High School Diploma, CDA, and CCMA certifications 🎓👏.

Ms. Meagan loves building meaningful relationships with her students and helping each child feel encouraged, confident, and supported every single day 💕. She believes in motivating children to always do their best and loves being a positive role model in their lives ✨.

Ms. Brandi is originally from Joplin, Missouri, and brings a wealth of experience caring for and supporting children. As a mom of three boys and with over 20 years of experience in a school setting, she understands just how special each stage of a child’s growth can be. She is also continuing her college education in the health field.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Brandi loves spending time with her boys, watching anime, and enjoying her favorite Italian foods—especially lasagna, pasta, and pizza!🍕 Her favorite children’s books include If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and the Goosebumps series.
