An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Priya
Meet Ms. Jayapriya Sreemivasan! 🌟
Ms. Jayapriya is originally from India 🇮🇳 and brings a strong educational background with her Master’s degree in Computer Applications 🎓. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections with her students and fostering a positive, engaging classroom environment 💛.
She enjoys spending her weekends with her family 👨👩👧👦 and loves indulging in trail mix and chocolate treats—especially chocolate fudge cake 🍫🍰!
One of her favorite children’s books is Have You Seen My New Blue Socks? 📚🧦, which reflects her love for fun, engaging stories that spark curiosity in young learners ✨.
Ms. Jayapriya relates most to the Primrose Friend Erwin because of his creativity 🎨 and ability to bring smiles to others 😊. She values creativity in the classroom and strives to make learning both joyful and inspiring for every child 🌈.
This school year, she is most excited to continue building strong relationships with her class 🤝 and watching her students grow, learn, and thrive throughout the year 🌱📖.

Meet Ms. Sengupta – Passionate Educator Dedicated to Growth & Learning! 🌟📚
We’re so excited to welcome Ms. Sengupta to our Primrose School of East Allen teaching team! 🎉 She joined us in December 2024 and brings a deep love for teaching, connection, and watching children grow.
Ms. Sengupta chose to be a Primrose Teacher because she finds so much joy in helping children learn, progress, and reach new milestones. She loves not only seeing the growth of each child in her classroom but also watching them flourish from their early years all the way to elementary school—what an incredible journey! 🚀✨
Did you know? Ms. Sengupta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science 🎓, which gives her a unique perspective on learning, exploration, and discovery. She is passionate about creating engaging, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

With over 4️⃣ years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Alexis brings 💖 warmth, ✨ dedication, and a whole lot of fun 🎉 to our Toddler classroom! From a young age, she knew that working with children was her true calling 👶🏼📚 — and it shines through in everything she does 🌈.
Ms. Alexis is passionate about helping little learners reach new milestones 🪜, explore the world around them 🌍, and grow into their amazing selves 🌻. Nothing makes her happier than watching her students thrive, giggle 😄, and discover something new each day 🔎💡!
