Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Meet Ms. Julie! 🌟
I am a passionate preschool teacher who loves working with young children and helping them grow, learn, and explore the world around them. Teaching is incredibly rewarding—it gives me the opportunity to inspire and shape young minds during these critical early years.
With experience working with children from ages one through seven, I understand the importance of fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. My goal is to create a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to discover new things every day!🌟
I am always eager to expand my knowledge in early childhood education so I can continue bringing fresh, enriching experiences to the classroom. I look forward to being a part of your child’s learning journey and making each day a joyful and meaningful adventure!

🍎 Meet Ms. Marlie! 🍎
We are excited to welcome Ms. Marlie Henson to the Primrose School of East Allen family!
Originally from Farmersville, Ms. Maylie brings more than seven years of experience working with children through babysitting and early childhood education. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Family Sciences with a concentration in Human Development and Family Studies, furthering her passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive.
Ms. Marlie chose early childhood education because she loves watching children’s creativity, curiosity, and imagination come to life. She believes every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they feel encouraged to explore, discover, and build confidence through meaningful learning experiences.
She has experience working with children from 6 weeks to 5 years old and is excited to create lasting relationships with her students and their families. Inspired by Libby the Lamb, Ms. Marlie values kindness, listening to every child’s ideas, and helping each child feel seen, heard, and important.
When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Marlie enjoys spending time reading, being with family and friends, and eating her favorite Italian food. Her favorite children’s book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and she’s looking forward to making this school year full of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories!
