Our Preschool Pathways Classroom

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Zunaira P.
Ms. Zunaira P.
Preschool Pathways Teacher

Hi, I’m Zunaira! I was given the opportunity to work with children and although I was hesitant at first and unsure if it was the right path for me, I decided to give it a try, and that decision sparked my passion for early childhood education. I love creating environments where children feel valued, safe, and excited to learn. I am proud and grateful to work in a role where I can make a positive impact on children’s lives, build meaningful connections with them and their families, and support their overall growth and success.

A little more about me: I am a fully qualified Early Childhood Education teacher and am eager to continue furthering my education in this field. I also grew up in Boy Scouts and earned my Eagle Scout rank, which has fostered my love for the outdoors. I enjoy spending time in nature, whether that’s hiking, camping, or relaxing at the beach.

I’m Barsha M. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

I am from India. I did my Bachelor’s in Technology from India. I moved to the USA in 2015 and moved to California in 2017. In 2017 I did a Masters in Accounting from distant education. I am the mother of a 4-year-old kid. As I spent time with him, I found that I am passionate about kids forced me to change my career and become certified as a Preschool teacher.  Kids are little explorers and I love to watch them grow. I am excited to be part of their wonderful journey with the help of the wonderful team of teachers at Primrose School.

You see, at Primrose Schools, we’re more than a team of professional teachers and child
care education specialists. We’re also a family, and we care for every child as though he
or she was our own. And like your home, our school provides a secure, nurturing
environment that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning.

Favorite food: I love Indian food, especially home food

Favorite weekend activity: Spend time with family, going to the beach, and vacationing in mountain the area.

Favorite children’s book: Very Hungry Caterpillar

The primrose character I most relate to: Molly the cow as Molly teaches us to be kind to ourselves and others.

What I’m most excited about this school year: I am delighted to be part of a kids learning and growing journey and I believe in creating a supportive, warm, and learning environment for children. I am excited about getting to know all the new students who are joining the Early Preschool classroom.

Preschool Pathways Teacher

Hello! I’m Saira Vanessa Apruebo.

Originally from Las Piñas, Philippines, I came to the United States with a heart full of love for children and a deep passion for supporting their growth in a safe and nurturing environment. My journey in childcare began as a Teacher Assistant, and that experience sparked a calling in me to pursue early childhood education. I’m currently continuing my studies in this field while holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Today, I’m proud to be part of the Primrose School family. Being surrounded by dedicated educators inspires me every day, and I’m excited to grow alongside them. I truly believe that children are our future, and I’m committed to creating a space where each child feels seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

A few fun things about me—I love Japanese food and chocolates, and on weekends, you’ll often find me hopping between cozy coffee shops, walking, or hiking. My favorite children’s books are anything Disney-related—they always bring a smile! Among the Primrose Friends, I relate most to Peanut the Pony, whose honesty reminds me of the kind of trust and connection I hope to build with every child, parent, and team member I meet.

This school year, I’m most excited to build strong, meaningful relationships with families and fellow teachers as we work together to create the best possible experience for your children.

I can’t wait to get to know you and your family!

Our family would love to meet yours.
