Our Infant Classroom

We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety

Their health & safety. Our top priority.

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Older Infant Teacher

Hello! My name is Chinara J. and I am from Azerbaijan. I have a bachelor’s degree in editing and publishing from Baku State University. I love kids and to work and educate them. In my native country I worked with gifted children in preschool about seven years. When my family and I moved to the USA I began to launch my eBooks in Amazon. I create coloring books for kids and the same time decided to engage with childcare. When I apply for support teacher in Primrose School of Cupertino it was my best choice for me in this sphere. Primrose School is the best environment for growing as a teacher and to have happy work life. I am excited to work with kids who brings me a lot of happiness and joy. I don’t notice how the time flies here with fair administrators, smiling school staff and joyful kids. Primrose is the best place for kids and teachers for growing up and have happy life.

Older Infant

Hello, my name is Erika also known as Ms. Erika!

I’m very excited to be a part of the Primrose community! I have been working with children for 10 years. I started my journey in a regional occupational program in high school working alongside children. I gained the passion and love of working with children from my Aunt who was a kindergarten teacher. She would always tell me how she loves her job and how she sees her kids grow and become successful. I was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the US when I was 3 years old. I lived in Union City until I was 6 years old and then we moved to the Central Valley. I grew up in a little town called Lathrop and now I am back in the Bay Area since 2017. I attended and graduated from De Anza Community College in 2019 where I received my A.A. degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Child Development. In my free time, I love playing video games, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. Some of my hobbies also include painting, music, and exploring my favorite city (San Francisco). I am looking forward to continuing my journey in meeting the kids and families at Primrose! I am deeply excited to grow as a teacher and build a connection with them.
