Our Early Preschool Classroom

Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more.

Early Preschool 2 Teacher

My name is Soumi Sen, and I have had a deep passion for teaching since childhood. I truly enjoy working with young children and find great joy in helping them learn, grow, and discover the world around them. Teaching has always felt like a natural calling for me, and I find it both rewarding and inspiring.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Science, which has provided me with a strong foundation to support my journey in education. Alongside my love for teaching, I am also deeply involved in artistic activities. Painting is one of my favorite hobbies—I enjoy expressing my thoughts, emotions, and imagination through colors and brushstrokes. Whether working on canvas or creating simple sketches, art brings me peace and fulfillment.

Music is another important part of my life. I often listen to music to relax, especially while painting or unwinding after a busy day.

When it comes to food, I enjoy trying new dishes, but my favorite comfort meals are traditional home-cooked Bengali recipes, filled with flavors passed down through generations.

I feel most at peace in nature—surrounded by greenery, flowing rivers, or the calm beauty of the mountains. These serene places inspire both my creativity and my art.

Some of my favorite children’s books are The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.

Hi, my name is Mrs. Ashley, and here’s a little bit about me!

I recently moved from Southern California to San Jose. I’m newly married, and I also have a two-month-old puppy named Bella who keeps life fun and busy!

One of my favorite things about working with children is watching them grow and learn new things each day. I love having the opportunity to play, engage, and build meaningful connections with my students as their teacher.

My favorite children’s book when I was younger was the Junie B. Jones series. Spanish is my second language, which I truly value and enjoy using.

My favorite holidays are Christmas and Thanksgiving because they are so family-oriented and full of special memories. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and puppy. I also love being outdoors, going to the gym, shopping, and staying active. 😊

Early Preschool 1 Teacher

Hello! I’m Saira Vanessa Apruebo.

Originally from Las Piñas, Philippines, I came to the United States with a heart full of love for children and a deep passion for supporting their growth in a safe and nurturing environment. My journey in childcare began as a Teacher Assistant, and that experience sparked a calling in me to pursue early childhood education. I’m currently continuing my studies in this field while holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Today, I’m proud to be part of the Primrose School family. Being surrounded by dedicated educators inspires me every day, and I’m excited to grow alongside them. I truly believe that children are our future, and I’m committed to creating a space where each child feels seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

A few fun things about me—I love Japanese food and chocolates, and on weekends, you’ll often find me hopping between cozy coffee shops, walking, or hiking. My favorite children’s books are anything Disney-related—they always bring a smile! Among the Primrose Friends, I relate most to Peanut the Pony, whose honesty reminds me of the kind of trust and connection I hope to build with every child, parent, and team member I meet.

This school year, I’m most excited to build strong, meaningful relationships with families and fellow teachers as we work together to create the best possible experience for your children.

I can’t wait to get to know you and your family!

Our family would love to meet yours.
