Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom
Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more, because when they are mentally, physically and emotionally ready to learn a skill, they develop mastery.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Deanna
Hello. My name is Deanna, and I previously worked as a special needs aide, and I truly love helping children learn, grow, and feel confident every day. One of my favorite things about working with children is watching them grow and hearing the amazing stories they share—they always brighten my day! My favorite children’s book is The Hungry Caterpillar, and I love celebrating holidays—especially Christmas! My family has lots of fun traditions, like decorating cookies on Christmas Eve, having a lasagna bake-off on Christmas Day, and going to church together on Easter morning. At home, I have three cats named Daisy, Finn, and Miso who keep me busy and make me smile. In my free time, I enjoy being creative through sewing, watercolor painting, DIY nails, and working with air-dry clay.

Candra
Hi, my name is Candra! I am from Nashville, TN. I have worked with upper 3’s, 4’s, and 5-year-olds as a teacher and co-teacher. I also attended Nashville State Community College and studied Early Childhood Education. My favorite foods are burgers, fries and pepperoni pizza. On the weekends I like to visit new coffee shops and shop at TJMaxx. My favorite children’s books are the Junie B. Jones series. This year I am so excited to see the growth of the students and really experience the fun of working with the Pre-kindergarten age.
