Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Jahalah Pettigrew is a devoted Early Childhood Educator at Primrose School, where she has been making a positive impact since 2022. Her greatest joy comes from spending each day with the children embracing their energy, laughter, and boundless curiosity. Ms. Pettigrew finds immense fulfillment in contributing to their growth and development, cherishing every moment of guiding them on their learning journey. As she completes her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Pettigrew continues to inspire with her passion, dedication, and joyful spirit qualities that make her an irreplaceable part of the Primrose team.”

Meet Ms. Swetha Chitrala

Serving children ages 3–4 years | Primrose Venture Program
Ms. Swetha Chitrala is a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who leads our Pre-Kindergarten 1 classroom with a passion for preparing young learners for their next big steps. As part of the Primrose Venture Program, she works closely with our 3- to 4-year-old students, guiding them through critical stages of development in both academics and social-emotional growth.
Swetha brings a thoughtful balance of structure and creativity to her classroom, helping children develop foundational skills through engaging activities, collaborative learning, and meaningful routines. Her calm demeanor and encouraging spirit create a space where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
