Hello, I’m Chef Robyn! 👩‍🍳💕

I’m originally from the beautiful Bahamas, where food, family, and hospitality are a big part of our culture. I’m no stranger to the kitchen—I’ve been cooking since I was just 9 years old! From experimenting with new recipes to creating meals through my own private catering business, food has always been one of my favorite ways to bring people together.

I have a background in Nutrition Science and food manufacturing, which has given me a passion for creating meals that are not only delicious but also nutritious. I love finding creative ways to make healthy food exciting and enjoyable!

My favorite part of being a chef for children is watching them discover new foods, try something for the first time, and experience those special “I actually like this!” moments. I believe mealtime should be nutritious, delicious, and FUN! 😊

When I’m not in the kitchen, you can usually find me trying new restaurants, enjoying a movie at the theater, or spending time with family and friends. One of my favorite ways to spend the weekend is binge-watching movies with the people I love.

I grew up in Allen, TX and attended child care from the ages 18mos-11 years. After graduating from Allen High School, I attended Stephen F. Austin State university and Collin College. Having grown up in childcare as well as working in this field so long, I’m amazed to see how far the early childhood education system has come and how wonderful an experience childcare can be for children thanks to schools like Primrose School of West Allen.

I’m Shagufta Anzar.  I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have worked as a co-lead Teacher in the infant room for over 13 years, starting in 2011. I love my job and enjoy working with my colleagues, the management team, and the owners. Taking care of infants brings me a lot of happiness, and the positive atmosphere in the infant room makes me even more passionate about my profession.

I’m excited to share a little about myself! I was born and raised in Washington State and have been proud to call Texas home for the past three years. I have seven years of experience working with children, including five years in a school district and two years in a preschool setting.

My favorite part of working with children is knowing that I have the opportunity to make a positive difference in their early education and development. I love watching children learn, discover new things, and grow in confidence. Most of all, seeing their smiles and knowing that I helped create a happy, nurturing, and supportive environment is what makes my work so rewarding.

Before coming to Primrose School of West Allen, I worked at a Primrose school in Frisco, and I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone here! I graduated from high school in 2020 and am currently in college studying sonography.

My favorite thing about working with children is seeing their personalities grow and watching how excited they get when they learn something new. My favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. My favorite holiday is Christmas because who doesn’t love watching Christmas movies?

I have three dogs — all girls and all under the age of two — so I always have my hands full at home! They love going on walks and getting lots of cuddles. In my personal time, I love spending time with my family, especially my two nieces. They are always teaching me new things!

Hi, I’m Mrs. Megan, and I’m so excited to be part of the Primrose School of West Allen family! I graduated from UNT in 2016 and have eight years of teaching experience, along with two years of experience working at a local preschool during college.

I love working with children because of their natural curiosity and fearlessness. Watching them learn through hands-on experiences, explore their world, and grow alongside their friends is one of my favorite parts of teaching. One of my favorite childhood books, Harold and the Purple Crayon, continues to inspire my love of imagination and curiosity.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband of five years, our two-year-old daughter, Amalia, and our two cats and leopard gecko! We especially love Halloween and Christmas, decorating, family costumes, cozy Christmas pajamas, cookies, and movie nights.
