Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hi! My name is Anna Lee Aguilar!

I’m so happy to be part of the primrose fam!

I graduated from McKinney High school and took 2 years of child development. I love watching children grow and gain confidence in themselves. Seeing the “light bulb” moment when a child finally understands is so rewarding.

In my free time I enjoy working out and spending time with my family!

I look forward to seeing everybody’s smiles everyday!

Ms. Vanessa Calderon

Hello! My name is Vanessa Calderon. I was born and raised in Texas. I graduated from Plano East in 2017 and earned my Associate Degree at Collin County College. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Learning and Development at the University of Texas at Dallas.

My goal at Primrose School of West Allen is to approach each day with joy. A smile on my face can bring a smile to your children’s faces, helping to create the meaningful connections and nurturing environment they deserve.

Mrs. Odanis Torres

I’m Odanis Torres.

I’m originally from Venezuela, and I’ve had the privilege of learning about different countries and cultures throughout my journey. I came to Primrose West Allen to share the best of those experiences and make a positive impact—especially in the lives of the children. I truly believe in the power of being cared for with patience and love, and I’m passionate about building trusted, meaningful relationships.

Thumbs Up Parachute Fun

During Thumbs Up, the children used the parachute to move up and down while exploring different movements and speeds. Everyone worked together to create waves, lifts, and gentle motions, making the activity both exciting and engaging.

Box Ball Fun in Early Preschool! During Wonder Time 3

Box Ball Fun in Early Preschool! During Wonder Time 3, our Early Preschoolers explored endless possibilities with Box Ball! From placing balls inside the box and pulling them out through holes, to discovering that ball play can happen indoors too—children used creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills in this open-ended activity. So much learning through simple, joyful play!

Science Is Colorful!

During Wonder Time 2, the children explored the experiment “Science Is Colorful” by observing what happens when cabbage leaves are placed in colored water. They watched closely as the leaves absorbed the water and changed color.
