Franchise Owner

Divya & Jai Singh

Meet Divya and Jai Singh – proud Franchise Owners of Primrose School(s) of Avon, Westlake, North Ridgeville, Beachwood, Copley-Fairlawn, Wadsworth.

Longtime residents of Cleveland, the Singh’s began their entrepreneurial journey with Primrose Schools in 2011. They are thrilled to bring the Primrose experience offering premier early education and care to families in the Twinsburg community.

Divya and Jai have three daughters – Baani, Myra and Noor. They first discovered Primrose in 2011 when they were searching for high-quality education and care providers for their oldest daughter Baani. After learning about Primrose through a family member, they toured the nearest school at the time, more than two hours away, and immediately fell in love with the curriculum and culture. Recognizing that the community they wanted to raise their children in did not offer what Primrose could offer, they made the decision to open their own Primrose school. All of their daughters have attended their own Primrose School of Avon, completing Private Kindergarten.

Divya and Jai, middle school sweethearts, are originally from India and relocated to the United States to pursue higher education. Coming from a cultural background that greatly values education, the Singh’s knew that opening a Primrose school would give them the opportunity to offer a high-quality preschool education not only for their own children but also for the children and families of the greater Cleveland area.

Prior to becoming Franchise Owners, Divya always had a strong passion to work with children. She attended Cleveland State University and earned a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and is also a licensed Occupational Therapist with specializations in pediatric therapy. Jai worked as a leader in the technology sales and earned his master’s degree in computer science from the Illinois Tech in Chicago.

“After touring a Primrose school and learning about the impact the exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum has on a child’s cognitive, social and emotional development, we immediately knew Primrose was the right fit for our family and for our community,” said Divya. “Our children are our inspiration for this school, and we not only look forward to providing them with the best education but also introducing Primrose Schools to wonderful community of Twinsburg families and offering their children the same high-quality education and care.”

The Singh’s goal is to offer an atmosphere where children can grow their Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts® and provide parents with peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for and receiving a premier education. At the school, Divya will handle the day-to-day operations working closely with parents, children and staff. Jai will also play an active role in supporting the new school, while supporting smooth seamless operations of their existing locations.

Primrose School of Twinsburg features the exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum for children ages 6 weeks to 6-years-old and provide before and after care for children upto 12 years of age. Developed by, and taught exclusively at Primrose Schools, the research-based curriculum blends purposeful play and nurturing guidance by teachers with emphasis on life skills and character development.
