Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Ms. Aruni Mananayaka
My name is Aruni Mananayaka, and I am excited to be part of the Primrose family as the Lead Teacher in Preschool 1. I am originally from Sri Lanka and now live in Twinsburg with my wonderful husband, our amazing two children, Liyara and Liyan, and our lovable dog, Echo.
I have over 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and truly enjoy helping young children learn, grow, and build confidence every day. One of the things I love most about teaching young children is watching their personalities shine as they discover new skills, make friendships, and experience the joy of learning. Being able to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children is something I am very passionate about.

Favorite Thing About Working with Children: Seeing the world through their eyes, their curiosity, honesty, and pure joy in the little things. Watching them grow, learn something new, and gain confidence is incredibly rewarding. Their laughter, creativity, and unfiltered excitement reminds me everyday why this work matters.

Ms. Addie Smith
I have been working as the Preschool One Assistant since September 2025. My favorite part of my role is creating special memories with children and supporting their growth each day. I believe in fostering a kind and nurturing environment while celebrating the unique qualities of every child. Outside of work, I have a strong passion for the arts and spend much of my time participating in rehearsals and performances. I am excited to meet you and your family and look forward to building meaningful connections throughout the school year.

Ms. Emily Dunlap
Hello! My name is Miss Emily, and I have been teaching children of all ages since 2019. I started as a lead teacher in a toddler classroom before transitioning to preschool. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University and have always had a passion for working with children, gaining experience through nannying and church childcare programs throughout high school and college.
Coming from a family of educators, teaching has always been an important part of my life. I love bringing a fun, creative, and playful energy into the classroom while helping children learn, grow, and develop a love for learning.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cheering on Cleveland sports teams, and participating in community sports leagues. I live in Munroe Falls with my husband, Mark, our daughters, Maxine and Maggie, and our dog, Lou.
Child Care/Teaching Experience: 6 years professionally, 10+ years outside of the classroom setting.
