Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Angelic Talamantez
Hello, my name is Angelic Talamantez and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from Sandra Day O’Connor High School. I have three years experience working with young children. My favorite thing about working with children is watching their minds work and seeing how creative they can be. My favorite children’s book is “The Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family and baking. What I am most excited about this year is being able to bond with my students and experiencing many fun activities with them.

Mrs. Bree Franco
Hello, my name is Mrs. Bree Franco. I am the lead teacher in our Pre-K 2 classroom. Before coming to Primrose School at Sonoma Ranch I was a Lead Teacher in a Preschool Classroom at Primrose in Ohio. I love working with the Pre-K curriculum and the students. It brings me smiles to see the student’s personalities grow throughout the year.

Mrs. Preethi Chinta
I have my degree in Information Technology and Computer Science. I have spent several years working with children at The San Antonio Christian Family Fellowship Church teaching children from ages 3-11. Children are precious and I enjoy being a part of their learning process. I especially enjoy doing crafts with the children and watching them create. My favorite children’s book is “Pete The Cat” because the author navigates through the story in such a creative and fun manner. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, shopping and reading gospel books.

Ms. Angela Driver
Hello, my name is Ms. Angela Driver. My professional education has been in two different areas. I have my Child Development Associates Degree. I have over 15 years of experience working with Preschool and School age students. Earlier in my career I also worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for over 15 years. My favorite thing about working with children is when they learn how to do something for the first time that they thought that they would not be able to do. I enjoy encouraging the children to use their imagination and seeing the results of their creation. My favorite children’s book is ”Where The Wild Things Are”. In my personal time I like to work on writing books, fishing, swimming, traveling. gardening, baking, eating popcorn while watching movies and going to concerts. I do enjoy music of all types. I also enjoy connecting with other women and helping to support them emotionally.

Mrs. Allysa Sullivan
Hello, my name is Mrs. Sullivan. I have 2 years of being a support teacher and 7 years working in children’s hospitals as a Certified Child Life Specialist. I have my B.S. from the University of Iowa in Child Life Studies with minors in Spanish, Psychology and Human Relations. My husband at I moved from Iowa to San Antonio in 2020. Now we have 2 little boys. One is almost 2 and a newborn. In my personal time I enjoy taking my toddler on adventures around town (different playgrounds, stores and Sea World), trying new restaurants, reading, yoga and spending time in the sunshine.

Mrs. Amanda McMahan
Hello, My name is Mrs. Amanda McMahan. I’ve have over 8 years of experience in the field of early education. I also have a certificate in American Sign Language. My favorite thing about working with children is listening to all of the stories the children make up and being able to experience their excitement with learning something new! A little bit about me – I am from the small town of Bruni, Texas. I have two beautiful girls and an amazing husband. We have one dog and his name is Milito. He is an Australian Shepard. My favorite holiday was Christmas, until my daughter was born on Halloween. Now this is my favorite holiday to celebrate. My favorite children’s book are “Happy Birthday Moon” and “Piggy and Elephant”. My favorite things to do with my family are camping, fishing and staying home watching new shows with my husband.
