Our Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Rebecca Leven
Hello, my name is Ms. Rebecca Leven. I have over 25 years of teaching experience, with 22 years of those being with Primrose Schools. My favorite thing about working with children is teaching new concepts and watching them learn throughout the school year. My favorite traditions are baking Christmas cookies / bunuelos and gathering as a family for Easter. I have one dog and her name is Coco. In my free time I enjoy reading crafting, watching sports and spending time with my sister.

Mrs. Gloria Martinez
Hello, my name is Mrs. Gloria Martinez. I am originally from Eagle Pass, Texas ( yes, where the casino is located!). I have 2 grown daughters and 2 dogs. I have been teaching kindergarten for 24 years. In the past, I also taught at the 1st and 3rd grade level. I graduated from Sul Ross University with a B.A. in Education. My favorite thing about teaching young children is seeing that spark in their eyes when they “got it!” My favorite children’s book is Dr. Suess’ “Green Eggs and Ham”. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. We watch the parade on TV, eat turkey and watch the Dallas Cowboys. At Christmas time the family also enjoys celebrating the holiday with tamales. We also open Christmas presents in the morning and then take our annual trip to Disneyland. I speak English and Spanish fluently. In my personal time I enjoy reading, gardening and spending time with my daughters.
