Our Preschool Pathways Classroom
Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®

- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets provided for each child, laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Our Preschool Pathways Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Desirae
Ms. Desirae brings extensive experience in both teaching and early childhood leadership, and she has found that nothing compares to the joy of being directly in the classroom with children. She is deeply committed to Primrose’s philosophy that who children become is just as important as what they know, and she is passionate about helping each child grow, discover, and develop confidence in who they are. Ms. Desirae cannot wait for a meaningful year together with your family.

Ms. Rachel
Ms. Rachel holds her Child Development Associate credential and brings energy, positivity, and a whole lot of heart to her role every single day. She is passionate about helping every child feel seen, valued, and excited to learn, and she has a special gift for drawing out the quieter kids and watching them gain confidence and try new things. Her favorite part of the job is witnessing those light bulb moments and seeing just how creative children can be when they are playing and exploring with their friends. Growing up as one of nine siblings is a big part of what drew her to working with children, and that big-family warmth comes through in everything she does. When she is not at school, you can find her hanging out with friends, spending time with family, walking her dogs, or heading out for a long drive. Her favorite family tradition of making the trip to Arizona every Easter to visit her grandma is something she looks forward to all year long.
