Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom
Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more, because when they are mentally, physically and emotionally ready to learn a skill, they develop mastery.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Irais
Ms. Irais brings more than ten years of experience in early childhood education to her role as Lead Pre-K Teacher, along with fluency in two languages and proficiency in a third. She is passionate about teaching young minds through play, dance, art, music, and literacy, and she brings creativity to every lesson and consistency to her classroom. Circle time is her favorite part of the day — sharing new songs, new books, and new Spanish words, and joining in the children’s imaginary play — and she loves watching them grow, especially when they encourage one another and share at home what they’ve learned. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their cat, Azul, playing board games, listening to audiobooks, and punch needling.

Ms. Kira
Ms. Kira brings love, kindness, patience, creativity, and a touch of silliness into her Pre-K classroom every day. Children are her passion, and she is continually inspired by the connections she builds with them and their families — she especially loves seeing their personalities emerge, watching them be good friends to one another, and discovering just how helpful they can be. The daily greetings, check-ins, and conversations she shares with families are what motivate her most, and she values the appreciation and support that make our school community special. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and getting together with friends.
