Our Early Preschool Classroom
Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more.

Ms. Callie
Ms. Callie holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and brings hands-on experience and a genuine passion for supporting children’s emotional and educational growth to her classroom each day. She loves fostering development and celebrating each child’s individual progress, and she was drawn to Primrose because of its warm, supportive team environment. Outside of school, she enjoys going on walks, spending time with friends and family, and making the trek to the Black Hills every summer.

Ms. Lexi
Ms. Lexi has worked in the childcare field since 2018 and completed several early childhood education courses at her local community college, which sparked her passion for working with young children. Originally from the East Coast, she moved to Sioux Falls the same year she graduated high school. As Lead Early Preschool Teacher, she loves creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive, and she is continually amazed by their ability to learn so quickly. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, photography, and spending time with friends, and she shares her home with her tabby cat, Ralphie.

Ms. Makayla
Ms. Makayla brings patience, organization, and a caring approach to her role as an EPS Assistant Teacher, along with a smile and a positive attitude every day. She completed two years of college coursework while still in high school, which reflects her dedication to learning and personal growth. She strives to create a nurturing environment where children can learn and grow, and what she loves most is watching them learn new things and seeing the spark and excitement in them. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family, and baking and decorating sugar cookies at Christmastime.

Ms. Ashleigh
Ms. Ashleigh is currently halfway through her degree in Early Childhood Education and brings a positive, can-do attitude to her role as an EPS Assistant Teacher. She is passionate about making meaningful connections with her students and loves watching them become more and more themselves. As one of five children herself, she understands how important nurturing guidance can be, and knowing that she is making a difference in a child’s life is what inspires her most. Outside of school, she enjoys reading.
