Elizabeth Esqueda
Hello everyone, my name is Elizabeth Esqueda. I’m truly happy to be joining the Primrose team and to be part of an organization that genuinely values children, families, and the people who support them.
I bring over a decade of professional experience in early childhood and youth development, primarily in San Francisco, where I worked closely with community-based and mission-driven organizations serving diverse families. While completing my bachelor’s degree in Health Equity at Mills College, I developed a strong understanding of wellness, prevention, and the importance of building systems that support people in meaningful and lasting ways.As my career evolved, my work naturally expanded into financial and operational roles, where I found a passion for bringing clarity, structure, and accuracy to complex processes. I bring hands-on experience in financial operations, with a disciplined, systems-oriented approach to accounting and operational support, and I take pride in creating workflows that are reliable, compliant, and supportive of both leadership and staff.
What brings everything full circle for me is returning to the childcare industry, where I can combine my background in child development with my dedication to financial operations. At Primrose, I’ll be working closely with the leadership teams in Livermore, San Ramon, and Hillcrest Forest as a Bookkeeper, supporting financial consistency, billing accuracy, and strong systems across our schools.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my children (who have plenty of energy) whether that’s visiting parks, sharing a home-cooked meal, reading together, or simply enjoying a movie night.
I’m genuinely excited to meet everyone, build relationships, and contribute in a way that supports both our teams and the families we serve.

Franchise Owner
Piyoosh and Neha Jalan
Meet Piyoosh and Neha Jalan, proud multi-unit Franchise Owners of Primrose School of San Ramon, Livermore and Silicon Forest. As longtime Bay Area residents, the Jalans are excited to bring the premier Primrose Experience to families in San Ramon, CA. With years of success operating the Primrose School of Livermore and Primrose School of Silicon Forest they are dedicated to providing an exceptional early education environment for the community.
Our Story
Neha and Piyoosh recognized the need for high-quality early education when they had their first daughter, Ishita, in 2008. “When we had Ishita, we couldn’t find a facility that combined a nurturing, loving environment with the balanced learning we wanted for our daughter,” says Neha.
With her background in early education, Neha took matters into her own hands and left her teaching career to start a home-based childcare service for Bay Area families in 2008. By 2011, with the birth of their son Samar on the horizon, the Jalans decided to take their passion for early education even further. After extensive research, they visited a Primrose School in Houston and were immediately impressed by its curriculum, infrastructure, philosophy, and culture. “We knew right away that we wanted to be part of the Primrose family,” says Piyoosh.
A Commitment to Excellence
Originally from opposite sides of India, both Neha and Piyoosh have always had a passion for learning and education. Piyoosh came to the United States to attend Cornell University, where he earned a master’s degree in Computer Science before beginning his career in Silicon Valley at companies like IBM, Yahoo!, and Microsoft. Meanwhile, Neha pursued her degree in Information Technology at Manipal University in Hyderabad, India. Despite her background in technology, teaching has always been her passion, and she achieved great success in early childhood education, earning the Teacher of the Year award in 2004.
“As a mother of two wonderful children, I understand how difficult it is to place your child in someone else’s care,” says Neha. “Primrose School of Silicon Forest will always strive to be a home away from home. We are committed to partnering with parents to provide children with the same passion, care, and love they receive at home.”
