Our After School Care
Our Explorer program is designed to nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® in children starting at five years old. Your child can relax, make friends, get homework help and continue to learn while having fun as they explore creative expression, sports, technology, drama, music, games and more.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind

Ms. Bella
Meet Ms. Bella
Ms. Bella is originally from San Francisco and currently lives in Concord. She is passionate about early childhood education and is currently attending Los Medanos College, where she is earning her Early Childhood Education units. With over four years of experience working with children, including her time at the Boys & Girls Club, Ms. Bella brings a caring, energetic, and positive approach to her work with children.
For Ms. Bella, one of the most rewarding parts of working with children is knowing that she can make even the smallest positive difference in a child’s life. She loves being able to support their learning, help shape their experiences, and watch their confidence and curiosity grow. She feels a deep sense of joy and pride in working with children each day and hopes to positively impact every child she meets.
Ms. Bella’s favorite children’s book author is Dr. Seuss. Her favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Bella enjoys staying active by going to the gym and swimming. She loves trying new restaurants and exploring different places to eat. She also loves doing nails and nail art.
Her promise is to always prioritize the safety and well-being of the children in her care while creating a positive and memorable learning experience. Most importantly, she hopes to make a meaningful impact on each child every day and make sure they feel supported and valued.
