Health & Safety

Our Preschool Program is designed for children ages 3 to 4 years old, providing a nurturing environment where children can build confidence, develop independence, and grow through purposeful play and engaging learning experiences.

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Lesly

Lead Preschool 2 Teacher

Hi, I’m Lesly, and I’m so excited to be part of the Primrose School of Parker community! I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Children Studies, which helped build my passion for early childhood education and child development.

I was born and raised in Washington before moving to Boise, Idaho, in 2024. While in Boise, I had the wonderful opportunity to work at a Primrose School, where I spent a year growing my experience and learning more about the Primrose approach to early learning. I recently made the move to Colorado and have been loving it ever since!

As the oldest of five siblings, I’ve always enjoyed being around children and watching them learn, grow, and discover the world around them. I’m passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where every child feels supported, valued, and excited to learn.

When I’m not at school, you can find me listening to the Jonas Brothers or enjoying a fun mocktail!

I can’t wait to get to know you and your family and look forward to creating wonderful memories together at Primrose School of Parker!

Lead Preschool 1 Teacher

Hi, my name is Simone, and I have been a proud member of the Primrose School of Parker team since February 2023. Born and raised in Centennial, Colorado, I have always enjoyed being part of a community that values children and families.

With three years of experience in early childhood education and childcare, I truly enjoy supporting children as they learn, grow, and reach important developmental milestones. One of the most rewarding parts of being an early childhood teacher is seeing a child’s excitement and confidence when they accomplish something new.

I believe every child is unique and deserves to feel valued, supported, and encouraged to express themselves. My goal is to create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment where children can build confidence, develop social-emotional skills, explore their creativity, and grow through hands-on learning and play.

Outside of Primrose, I enjoy spending time with my 8-year-old daughter. We love visiting parks and pools, exploring sensory play, singing and dancing, and camping with family. I am grateful to be part of the Primrose School of Parker community and look forward to helping each child thrive during their early childhood years.

Small-Group Literacy in Our Venture Program ✏️📚

Our Venture learners are building important early literacy skills through engaging small-group learning experiences! In this activity, children practiced tracing the letter F, strengthening their letter recognition, pencil control, and fine motor skills. Small-group literacy instruction gives children opportunities to learn at their own pace while receiving individualized guidance and encouragement from their teachers. These experiences help build confidence and create a strong foundation for reading and writing success. At Primrose School of Parker, we make learning meaningful and engaging as children develop the skills they need to become confident, capable readers and writers!

Project Time: A House for Hermit Crab 🦀🎨📚

Our Venture learners brought literature to life during Project Time as they explored the beloved book A House for Hermit Crab! After reading the story, the children became creative problem-solvers and artists as they painted their own hermit crab shells. This hands-on project encouraged children to make connections between books and real-world experiences while exploring creativity, color, and self-expression. Project-based learning also supports language development, critical thinking, fine motor skills, collaboration, and problem-solving. At Primrose School of Parker, our Venture Program provides meaningful learning experiences that encourage children to ask questions, explore ideas, and turn their curiosity into discovery. Through Project Time, children learn that their ideas and creativity can bring learning to life!

Art Center: Ocean Textures 🌊🎨🐚

Our Venture learners dove into creativity at the Art Center with an exciting Ocean Textures experience! Children explored a variety of art materials and techniques to create artwork inspired by the textures, colors, and natural beauty of the ocean. This hands-on activity encouraged children to experiment with different textures, make creative choices, and express their ideas through art. As they worked, they also strengthened their fine motor skills, sensory awareness, creativity, and confidence. At Primrose School of Parker, our Venture Program provides opportunities for children to explore, create, and learn through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Our Art Center encourages children to use their imaginations while developing important skills that support lifelong learning
